Mexican president should be fixing Mexico's problems, not telling us Americans what to do
Vicente Fox praised the passage of the Senate bill that if enacted by President Bush will bring citizenship to most illegal aliens living in the USA.

Vicente Fox is not helping the situation. He only wants to get rid of the problem people by exporting them to the US. Although he supports more rights to illegal aliens living in this country, Mexico forbids many rights to non-natural citizens of Mexico. Mexico has all the rules that the US should have, but doesn't have the guts to put into action. We should EXPEL ALL illegal citizens. Close the borders, expel all illegal citizens, and strip them of their rights to recieve healthcare and other support items.

Girl protests school's banning of Confederate clothing
Candice Hardwick walked a few blocks to her school, this time decked out in Confederate insignia. She also had family walking with her, also wearing Confederate insignia. She is protesting her school for banning the wearing or showing of the Confederate insignia or flag. She wears the insignia to pay tribute to her ancestors who fought in the Civil War. Southerners have viewed the Confederate insignia as a symbol of pride and heritage, while the rest of the country likes to compare it to and slavery.

The has every right to show her respect for her ancestors. Americans always have held respect for their ancestors, and this is no different. So what if they were Confederates? Southerners aren't allowed to show respect for their lost ancestors? Just because they were Confederates doesn't mean they supported slavery. It just means they wanted the states to have a greater influence on the national government. The United States government was originally a confederacy before the Constitution was written. The Articles of Confederation was our first constitution.

Pakistan's Insanity - 2 court systems: 1 secular, 1 Islamic - And one man is to die because of it
Mood:  irritated
A British man is to die in Pakistan for the so-called of a taxi driver. The entire story can be read on the source I'll show at the bottom of the post. Basically, the secular court throws out Tahir Mirza Hussain's conviction, then he is retried in an Islamic court, found guilty, and sentenced to die. The Islamic trial was not only rediculus, but also lacked witnesses and evidence. It was a shame trial, and needs to be thrown out IMMEDIATELY by Pakistani President Gen. Pervez Musharraf. There is no reason for this man to die. He has suffered years inside a tiny prison cell, suffering for a crime he did not commit. He was convinced on "'haraabah,' or armed robbery", a crime that the Islamic court needed. This is completely unheard of, and Amnesty International has urged a retrial (also completely rediculus, since he was already AQUITTED in a secular court, the conviction should just be thrown out) and British Prime Minister Tony Blair and Foreign Secretary Margaret Beckett have urged Musharraf to stop the . This is a disgrace against all justice in the world. He is going to be hung on June 1st unless Musharraf steps in and puts a stop to it.

"Da Vinci Code" is just a book...
Dan Brown wrote "The Da Vinci Code" as a fictional story. These days, people take anything too far. I'm a Catholic, so I don't believe in what the story has to say, but just because it is sacrilegious doesn't mean I'm not going to see it. I watched the movie not because of anything from the Catholic Church, I watched it because I find historical information interesting, whether it be about the Roman persecution of the Christians, or the conversion of the Roman Empire from pagan to Christian. People just take things too far, and need to understand that the book is just a story, not an attempt to reform the Roman Catholic Church.

Prayer is not banned under the First Amendment
The ACLU has filed a lawsuit against a school in south-central Kentucky to stop a clergy-lead prayer being given during graduation. One of the graduation students complained, saying that a clergy-lead prayer was an illegal endorsement of religion, and therefore illegal under the First Amendment. The student had complained to the principal of the school, who refused to budge. Now, he is hoping that a court will order an injunction to keep the prayer from being held.

Gimme a break. If he doesn't want to listen to the prayer, then don't go. He still graduates even if he missed the ceremony. People get sick during their graduations. Plus, LOOK at the First Amendment. It does not say that religion can't be expressed at a school graduation. It says that the US Government can't ESTABLISH a religion. It says nothing about keeping the government from ENDORSING a religion.

Welcome All
Welcome all to whatever kind of information I find suiting to be placed in here. I am a conservative, so though most may not agree to what I have to say, I believe in what I say, and others agree with me. Not all of you will, but to that, I say "I couldn't care less". If you are offended by what I have to say, just leave. I'm not forcing you to stay and read what I have to say. I use sources that are listed on other conservative blogs, mainly Tongue Tied, and I also use Fox News, but I do not steal the blogs I come across. Instead I use sources from other blogs and on Fox News, but I form my own opinion, which is sometimes very different from other conservative blogs. I am just too busy during my day, so I can't be searching the Internet all the time to find my own sources, but occasionally, I will.

Thank you,

Your patriotic friend,
