Cochran, Coonfield, Little, Miller, Parker, Crigler, Roby, Weatherford, Wright............................. Some settled in Kentucky for a while and moved on to Arkansas and Kansas. Frank Cochran of Chetopa Kansas married Anne Carter in 1951 in Montgomery Alabama while he was stationed at Maxwell AFB after being in the Korean War...His reat grandfather Jacob Benjamin Cochran had once gone from Ohio to California to search for gold and came back, moving his first family to Iowa for a few years. Mom's parents were Alice McClain and Cecil Carter but he was adopted so we had to find his parents, Anna Stone and William Frank Fenn. The parents of Alice were Lorena Bozeman and Charles Allen McClain. Resources Census records, Bible Records, Cards, Letters, Birth and Death Certificates, newspaper clippings and many old family photos with writing on the back have been our best resources plus the old state records found on the internet at usgenweb.com and most of my own documents have been scanned and posted to a website included in those links below.
