The Marines have been around since 1775. The Marines were formed when Samuel Nicholas put together two battalions and formed the Continental Marines. The U.S. Marine corp is a branch of the Navy. The Marines have served in every American conflict. One of the things that make the Marines so much better than the other branches is that they are able to respond more quickly to crise.
The Marines have been in every War and have been major contributer in the Revealotinary War to present day.
