That is not just a phrase. If you live in and around Adamvsille, Alabama, there is a 99% chance that you have been directly or indirectly affected by that Judicial System.
Some of your rights include:
--THE RIGHT to be appointed a lawyer if you cannot afford one.
You are still entitled to a lawyer, even though you are broke and cannot afford one.
YES YOU ARE ENTITLED!
The United States' Constitution GUARANTEES YOU THIS RIGHT!!
Justice is not just for those who can afford it.
Judge Landrum makes the analogy that 'getting a lawyer is like buying a car', if you need a car, you go buy one, if you need a lawyer, you go hire one.
WHAT A LAME ANALOGY!
What he fails to realize is that nowhere in the Constitution of the United States does it say that, if you cannot afford a car, one will be provided for you.
WHAT IT DOES SAY, HOWEVER IS THAT:
if you cannot afford an attorney, one will be provided/appointed for you!!
Get the picture?
People, we were born with these rights; justice for anybody reading this who was born after these guaranteed amendments were added to our United States Consitution. It says,
"...AND justice for all".
--THE RIGHT TO Due Process
--THE RIGHT to a speedy hearing/trial
--THE RIGHT to face your accuser and have witness for your defense
This could involve yourself, a friend, or a loved one.
There are people out there who care about justice and seeing that people get it!!
