Mommy and David decided to whip up a batch of homemade cupcakes for my birthday.
Chef David and His Souz Chef
In addition to supervising, I assisted with placing the cupcake liners in the pan. And taking them out, and putting them back in, and ...
Decorating the Cupcakes
We had some really colorful sprinkles to put on the icing. It was called "Funfetti". I think David might have eaten more than he used for decorations.
Finished Product
Here's the end result of Mommy and David's labor of love. I don't think any store bought cake could have looked or tasted as good as these cupcakes!
Party of Four
We went out to dinner at the Macaroni Grill for my birthday. Don't I look like such a big boy sitting here at the table?
I had my very own child's meal for the first time ever! Believe it or not, it wasn't chicken fingers. I had grilled chicken and broccolli. (I'm trying to trim down my baby fat.) The waitress brought me a hot fudge sundae for dessert. It had a candle in it and everybody sang Happy Birthday.
After dinner we went over to Chuck E Cheese's and rode a few rides. (You might have noticed the photo of Barney and me at the top of this page.) We had to wait until the next day to open my presents and eat cupcakes because David and I fell asleep during the car ride home. So much food and fun really exhausted us!
