The new nanny
Topic: Nanny

Donna will leave soon so we hired her friend Delia to be her successor in taking care of Azhfaar. We brought the new nanny earlier so that Donna can teach her how to deal with Azhfaar by the time she will leave.  I hope Azhfaar will learn to like her new nanny like the way he likes his Tita Donna

Ommie
Mood:  happy
Topic: Nursery Rhymes

Azhfaar can sing the song Ommie in his own way, he sang like this way:

Ommie ahna ashaho

Anashedan dawman anshodoho

Kolli makanin azkoroho

Adallo adallo oladdidoho

Ommie, ommie, ommie, ommie……tatatatata

Ismoki mankoshon fi qalbi

Hobboki dini fi darbi

Wa dua-e yahfazoki rabbi

A dua-e yahfazoki rabbi

That’s how the way he sang it, he almost got it correctly!

New phrase (Are you sure?)
Topic: Baby Talks

Our conversation:

Azhfaar: Mama what’s that, what happen?

Me: A fire track

Azhfaar: Are you sure?

Me: Yes of course

Azhfaar: Of course?

Me: Yes

Azhfaar: Yes?

Me: Yeah

Azhfaar: ah, okay

I can’t imagine that he can talk to me in that way, hahah, I don’t know where did he learned the phrase “are you sure”, maybe he heard it from TV.

Can talk almost fluently
Topic: Baby Talks

He speaks many words already, his language is combination of English, Arabic and our native dialect. Like or example when we asked him “what’s that?” he will answer with “Haza Umbrella”, Haza is Arabic and umbrella is English.  Lol

Granny?s departure
Topic: Family

My father, Azhfaar’s granny left Kuwait yesterday for Philippines, he stayed with us for 20 days and Azhfaar was really fond of him.  Granny played with him, ate with him and sometimes they slept together. When we go out, Azhfaar sat in his lap at the car’s front seat and they always talked with each other. Azhfaar sang many songs for him. They did a great bonding during his stay here in Kuwait.
