Notes: Introducing..........."Madge"!!! Madge was rescued from a local kill shelter and placed in to our foster program. Madge is beyond a shadow of a doubt, hands down, NO CONTEST.....the sweetest dog EVER!!! Madge will win you over with her humble and loving personality. Her only goal in life is to make you happy.....and to receive love in return. Her greatest joy is to be right by your side. Whether you are watching tv, going for an afternoon walk or just reading a book....Madge will be right by your side or lying at your feet. This wonderful lady knows to sit, shake, lie down and she has impeccable manners. She even gives hugs when asked - very gentle and loving hugs. She loves to go for walks, ride in boats and cars, go swimming, fetch tennis balls and frisbees......she even gives them back! We knew Madge was special when we saw her in the shelter. She never barked to get our attention but she would pick up her water bowl and hold it in her mouth - it reminded us of a beggar begging for money....except she was begging to be saved. Madge was heartworm positive when rescued from the kill shelter but she has since been treated. She gets along with other dogs and cats and fits in to any situation. Madge is approx. 7-8 years old, spayed, current on vaccinations, dewormed and treated for fleas/ticks.
