Listen to a press conference of three Sindh advocacy groups demanding a greater share of Indus River water resources for Sindh Province. The Pakistan Government has build dams and canals in the north which today has left Sindh Province without adequate fresh water. In the past few years seawater has entered upstream from the Arabian Sea. Sindh Province suffers hardship and poverty, and cropland is wasted. The World Sindhi Institute, The World Sindhi Congress and The Sindhi Association of North America took part at The National Press Club on June 24, 2003.
