may be some resources here that cover subjects in which they work and of
which they are unaware. I am happy to share my glossaries as well as
many useful glossary links I've encountered over time. I know in many
ways we are competing one against the other but that does not
necessarily preclude collaboration on some fronts. Now many of the terms
here have been gathered from various sources, so many it would truly be
a daunting task to list each and every source. To the best of my ability
I do believe that they are all part and parcel of the public domain. If
you can substantiate that any of my links or any parts of my personal
glossaries are drawn from privately owned sources rather than the public
domain, please contact me and they will be
removed immediately. At the bottom of this page I've installed a chat
room applet. I can't guarantee that I'll be online often enough to play
the role of moderator so you'll have to be on your own best behavior.
Besides, I think, we as translators, are generally very courteous and
professional with each other so I would like to urge you to use the chat
room to discuss translation related issues or to use it as a
forum. It will be interesting to see what comes of it.
