My special areas
are technical documents (computer HW/SW, Internet and telecommunications,
IT general, online help files, website and software localization,
networking equipment, security devices, Internet, search engines and
training modules).
I have also translated texts and documents in many other areas of expertise
and offer editing and proofreading besides translations.
I have a degree as a legal assistant and worked as Chief Project Manager
and Chief Translator at a German translation company after 16 years with
BMW in Munich, Germany, as Purchasing Officer for IT equipment and Trainer
for MS Office programs.
My rates depend on the size, format and content of the project and usually
start at Euro 0.12/word. In general, I review the translation project and
let you know latest within a day, usually within a couple of hours, how
much I would charge and which deadline I could offer. I also offer
discounts for long-term clients with regular jobs and for large projects.
My references are excellent and all my clients (in the UK, USA, France,
Germany, Israel, Australia, Ireland, Belize, New Zealand and the Czech
Republic) are very satisfied with my work, which is
always done efficiently, correctly and on time.
