Patent # 92,540 July 13, 1869
A great washing machine patent model made out of wood. A big difference in the design of this machine, it has verticle rollers around the interior wall of the tub, against which the clothes are rubbed by the oscillating frame.
Mr Page says in his claim that the washer is "operated by hand, through the medium of a lever and suitable gearing." I guess that means a bit of elbow grease is needed to run the washer.
