4. To guide participants in learning basic hiking knowledge and hillwalk technique. 
　

5. For those who complete the course successfully can be awarded with "Hiking Skill Training Course Elementary" certificate and Field Practice Card issued by Outdoor Leadership Training Program of Protrek
　

6. Holder of "Hiking Skill Training Course Elementary" certificate has been equipped with adequate basic knowledge, and who can apply a much more safe and environmental measures to enjoy hiking activities. 

7. "Hiking Skill Training Course Elementary" certificate can participate in all other advanced hiking courses held by Outdoor Leadership Training Program to enhance more hiking knowledge, meanwhile, who can participate in a variety of different types of hiking activities.
