Welcome To Dream Achievers

Wow! Just look at that yacht. How I wish I had one of those. I’ll take the family on sailing vacations, to islands, & we’ll do a bit of fishing, have fresh fish for meals. How lovely to feel the soft breeze of the sea, gently sweeping against my face & the air so fresh without the smell of carbon monoxide. I’ll take friends out on weekends for sailing trips & they’ll look upon me, wishing they had my lifestyle. Life will be so wonderful. How I wish…

A dream is born

Now, what can I do to own this? I’ll sell the car for a smaller car. Work harder & get a second job to earn more money. Invest some of my money in shares & a little into the lottery. Yeah, I could sell off the house & get a smaller house. Cut down on my expenses. Cut down the kids’ expenses. After 2 years of hard work, I should have enough to put a down payment on that yacht. The rest will be covered by a bank loan. I can do it.

Putting things together to make dream a reality

(Walks into the sales office)

“Hi there. I am interested in that yacht.” “How much is that?” The reply, “it’s only 3million dollars sir.” With eyes bulging, “What? 3 million?” “Good price, I’ll think over it.” Walks out the door, pain in the heart, thinking to self, nah! I can live without a yacht. After all the maintenance will kill me. Yachts are made for people who are not so smart with a wish to go broke. I am too smart for that. Yeah, way too smart. Genius kind of smart.

Shatters dream, goes into denial, & lives in it.

This sounds very familiar doesn’t it? Well, maybe not the yacht. It could be a beautiful house, a sports car, holiday trips with the family, sending the kids to better schools, even buying a better computer, having extra time to spend with the family, etc.

We all have dreams that we’ve conceived in our minds & later shatter them with excuses (that are made to be as good a reason as possible by the mind). Then we decide to live in denial. Denial seems to be the safest place to be (Not The Nile). Denial is the comfort zone. That’s the power of the mind. Mind power, some call it.

Truth is by using that same mind power you can actually make those dreams come true. Try this little exercise.

Answer these questions as honestly as possible.

1. If you’ve got 24 hours to get 100,000.00 dollars, or your whole family dies (a bit harsh!). What would you do?

2. If there is no such thing as failure, what would you do?

You are closer to financial freedom than you may think! Explore this pages to live your dreams.
