Glad to meet you. Here's a little about me.

I've had a flaming desire to write since I was nine years old. In high school I wrote short stories, poems, and started a novella.

During my young married years I joined a writing group to enhance my writing. When members were given "The Torn Blue Shirt" assignment, most of the group, much older than me, wrote about mending the shirt, I challenged the story with a mystery involving a bloody torn shirt swept down from the river. Ever since I've had a love of writing fiction.

I've written for the Cuyamaca College newspaper and participated in writing for the Historical Society in Spring Valley, CA.

I've mentored fiction classes on the internet and have developed a romance and mystery class through Writers Village University.

My current work in progress is Montana Featherstone, a romantic suspense. I nearly completed the fifty thousand words for Nano, came short by five thousand words.

I completed 50,050 word of my novel: Glacier Creek, during the month of November, 2004!

I'm also working to get a poetry chapbook together.

I was a Marketer of the Writers Roundtable. The Roundtable has published The Sun Never Rises, A Rainthology where I have a short story and several poems.

This experience added to my knowledge by attending readings and booksignings for our book.

Our second Anthology-Dreammakers came out June 18, 2004.

I have been a facilatator of writing groups and currently teach writing classes.

My offline writing group that I facilatate is called Monday Night Specials. We get together and write short stories that are getting ready for a anthology.

I live in Washington state, and my husband is retired navy. We've been here for several years now.

I have three grown children and two grandchildren. Trinity Rose will be five in April and Kaden Casch turned one in March.

I have two cats and one dog. My favorite activities besides writing and playing with my grandchildren is swimming, walking, crocheting, and traveling. My favorite place to visit is the Ocean.

Writing is the pearl of creativity that lies inside our hearts waiting for the lustre of our muse on paper.

Any questions? Feel free to ask. No such thing as a stupid question.

Julie
