I've had a flaming desire to write since I was nine years old. In
high school I wrote short stories, poems, and started a novella.
During my young married years I joined a writing group to enhance my
writing. When members were given "The Torn Blue Shirt" assignment,
the group, much older than me, wrote about mending the shirt,
I challenged the story with a mystery involving a bloody torn shirt
swept down from the river. Ever since my love of writing
fiction has grown.
I've written for the Cuyamaca College newspaper and participated in
writing for the Historical Society in Spring Valley, CA. I've
interviewed museums, written for schools as well as doing newsletters
for my own sites and for other people.
I've mentored fiction classes on the internet and have developed
a romance and mystery class through Writers Village University.
For my group, Dreamweavers, I designed a website and I designed
one for my poetry book-Vines Of Life.

With my novel Montana Featherstone, I nearly completed the fifty
thousand words for NaNo, came short by five thousand words.
Another current work is Frost Dragons.
My poetry book, Vines of Life is now for sale at lulu.com. I'm working on my
second poetry book as a sequel to the one I have now.
I have been a facilitator of writing groups and currently teach
writing classes.
My offline writing group that I facilitate is called Wednesday Night
Specials. We get together and write short stories that are getting
ready for an anthology.
I live in Washington state, and my husband is retired navy. We've
been here for several years now.
I have three grown children and three grandchildren. Trinity Rose will be nine
in April, Kaden Casch will be five in March and Annalisis is now three. Trinity
loves to read and write like I do. Recently she also illustrated a story she
wrote. She told her teacher that she wants to be like me when she grows up.
Another grandchild will be here in March.
I have one cat, Misty and a dog, Boots who is fifteen. Both bring me
great joy. My favorite activities besides writing, reading and playing with my
grandchildren and playing board games. My hobbies
are swimming, walking, crocheting, and last year I developed a love
of painting ceramics, and the art of Raku. I also enjoy the art of
photography.
Traveling is another love of mine, I've been to
Korea, Japan and I lived in Guam for two and a half years. The ocean
is my favorite place to be. In Japan, despite my fear of heights, I
went up the Tokyo tower. Quite the experience and the emotion is
something that I've used for some of my characters.
Writing is the pearl of creativity that lies inside our hearts
waiting for the lustre of our muse on paper.
