I lie awake at night
And wonder about a lot of things

What tomorrow brings
How a world with so much suffering
Can continue to strive

Why we always long for something
But know what to expect
How love can seem so precious
And yet painful at the same time
How when something seems hopeless
Some continue to climb
I lie awake thinking
Of these things I have and have not seen
I wonder as I fall asleep
What the world would be like If no one dared to dream...
