Michael Jae

It’s weird when life catches up with you.

Ten years ago around this time, I was planning Chronicfest II as the Stoned Ranger, fighting with WHCM at Harper College, booking bands for independent shows, and of course having lots of fun along the way. A year later, I started one of the most controversial television programs that well I have ever seen, and had some of the coolest guests on. From local bands such as Neotribe, Infrared, Vis@40 (now ADD), Slytherin, to national heroes like Fear Factory, Soulfly, Rob Zombie, and lots of craziness. I went from the stoner to the prankster, and then to a dark dreary mess.

Now 10 years later, I’m a proud father of little Jersey Lee and working a “real” job being in charge of building one of the newest taxi companies under one of the biggest names in the industry.

Have I forgotten where I came from? Not a chance. Do I still dream? Hell yes. Will the saga of Michael Jae continue on? You bet it will. I just need to make my next move which is in planning stages. MJP: The Static Experience is off the air (after putting it off for months) and I don’t know what will replace it, when it will be back on, and all the answers to those questions.

What I do know is I am working on uploading many videos from the SRTV/MJP days to You Tube so you can relive memories from all the crap I pulled off on TV. I will be producing a special to mark the return of the MJP to television which will most likely take place later this year. My number one priority is my family, which explains why so much has been put on the back burner. I appreciate all the support and kind words people have given me over the years, and hope to continue on with the MJP soon. Right now, in this bad economy, I have to do what’s more important in the long run, which is to keep a roof over our heads, and struggle through life, much like many of you are doing right now.

I appreciate you stopping by. Keep coming back for more info. You can sign up for the subscription page and that will keep you up to date with the SRTV/MJP videos on You Tube. I will be doing new stuff later in the year, and I will make everyone laugh, cry, scream, whatever it is I do. For now you can hear me Sundays at midnight on 102.3 XLC doing radio. As always, don’t fear the future, FEAR RIGHT NOW!

Take care and talk you soon. Thank you for your support.
