On January 25th, Mrs. Davis and Mr. Roberson took a group of ten students to compete in Savannah, Georgia for the Region Competition at Windsor Forest High School.Students competed in many events such as Website Development, Business Calculations, and Accounting. Te’Shounda Flemming and Hayley Colsen won fourth place in Desktop Publishing, and Nikita Bolton took home first place in Job Interview. Congratulations to everyone who competed. We know you all worked hard and we hope to see you all competing in a state competition.

FBLA was offered a unique opportunity this year. As you all know, we have been collecting pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald house. This year, we were fortunate enough to bring the pop tabs we collected to Savannah and help out with the conference. FBLA would like to thank all the members who helped Saturday, March 4th. The Ronald McDonald House is a great organization to help families in need. FBLA hopes to see everyone bringing in pop tabs to continue helping with such a great organization. |

March 17-19, Mrs. Davis and Mr. Roberson took a group of nine students to compete in Atlanta, Georgia. Students were competing at the state level. Students competed in many events such as Marketing, Business Ethics, and Job Interview. Te’Shounda Flemming won second place in Business Law, Nikita Bolton took home seventh place in Job Interview, Stephen Brooks won sixth place in Business Law, Hayley Colsen won eighth place in Marketing, and Nicholle Neives won third place in Marketing. Congratulations to everyone who competed. We know you all worked hard and we hope to see more of you competing next year.
