Class Syllabus

I. Program Description:    Familiarizes client/student with a complete understanding of the corporate structure and environment. 

A.  Name of Program:                  CEO Training 

 B. Program Length:                    Three months

                  (Competencies in corporate strategies ranging from initial set-up and start-up to day-to-day procedures in protecting the corporate veil.)

                    Instructional methods: Lecture, Hand-on Experience, and On Line Information Resources.

This series is available on Cassette Tape and Compact Disk (CD).

IV. Objectives

In general, the objectives of this course, is to familiarize the client/student with introduction to Corporate Business Strategies and the creative aspects of manageable debt (credit worthiness), and the definition and understanding of profiling your business to assume the look and operation of any fortune 500 corporation.

 

• Understanding the ramifications of your business as a legal entity;

 

• Relating history and the development of the corporate structure in protecting personal assets from business assets;

 

• Describe the fundamental techniques of system management,

 

• Management of accounting systems as they pertain to different subsidiaries or divisions within the corporate hierarchy;

 

• Use of credit as a tool to assist in financial planning and accounting for businesses,

 

• Use of corporate shells as growth and management programs within the business plan,

 

• Use of marketing presentation programs to find partnership in the investment communities,

 

• Understanding this process as the means of acquiring growth funds; and

 

• Recruit ADVISORS with education, skill and experience levels

 

VI. Attendance Policy

Attendance is expected of clients/students; missing even one class will make it difficult to catch up. Instructors take roll enabling them to determine excessive absence patterns and to set up counsel for those having such patterns to keep them as closely abreast as possible.

JLS Corporate-Like procedure for monitoring attendance is as follows:

• Attendance will be recorded at each session, and become part of the client/students' permanent record.

• Client/student (s), should be counseled by the program coordinator if he/she attains eight absences during any eight-week module of study. The client/student should realize the seriousness of what is taught and that delay ensures additional cost to the client/student Therefore our stress upon the word COMMITMENT.

Client/students that are not able to make satisfactory progress in terms of attendance and have completed more than 20% of the duration of course of study may be placed on probationary status. In addition, students must turn off their cellular phones and beepers during class, including team participating time.

B. Make-up:

Any student missing a test when it is administered or missing an assignment at the time that it is due must receive the approval of the instructor in order to make up the test or assignments. If approval is granted, the test or assignment must be made up within 5 days, or an automatic zero will be assigned. Make-up tests and assignments may be subject to a reduction in the grade.
