March 21: No answer. March 25: Talked to Anthony. He says that a listing with a real estate agent will expire in 2 days. The house has 2 bedrooms on the 2nd floor and a bedroom on the first floor. It is not in need of major repairs, only minor ones, but still it can be rented as it is. An appraiser gave 609k as an estimate. He has a mortgage of 498k with 4 payments behind and he thinks that he will not be able to pay these monthly payments. He wants to sell it for $ 545k. I told him that I will talk to Roy, my business partner. April 20: House listed, but he says he can take it off at any time, has 6 or 7 payments behind, monthly payment is $4,200 k to EMC mortgage with 7.6%.
