The Road to Ladakh
Dalai Lama Circuit: Camp in luxury tents inside a tea-estate at Dharamsala, visit the Tibetan Government in exile and if possible meet the Dalai Lama.   Trek through rhododendron forests in the fabulous Dhauladhar mountains climbing easily to an altitude of 10,000 ft. Visit monasteries, temples, and ashrams.
High Altitude Jeep Safari: On the highest road in the world, cross the high passes of Rohtang La, Baralachha La, Lachhung La, and Tanglang La from Manali to Leh and finally the Khardung La, over 18,000 Ft. in altitude. North of Leh, visit the spectacular Pangong Lakes- where all the shades of the color spectrum are reflected off the waters onto the snow peaks.
Visit the garnet hill where natural garnets are found. Visit the famous Monasteries of Hemis and Phyang near Leh, the capital of Ladakh.
Nubra Valley-Indus–Tso Morari Lakes Tour: Fly into the high altitude region of Ladakh at Leh and after acclimatization drive across the highest motorable pass in the world –the Khardungla pass, 18,640 ft in altitude into the most beautiful of high altitude valleys-the Nubra valley. The valley looks out at the Karakoram Ranges and the Pamir Knot towards the high plateau of Central India and the old Silk Route.   Visit the old silk route as it was centuries ago and go right up to the inner line which begins in the Siachen Glacier- the disputed land between India and Pakistan. Return to Leh, visit the Tso Morari Lakes – the breeding grounds of the Great-crested Grebe and the Black-neck Crane and drive along the river Indus which flows in from Tibet.

Base Camp Support to Mountaineering Expeditions: We

  • co-ordinate paperwork and procedures with the Indian Mountaineering Foundation and other Government agencies, booking peaks, etc
  • take on full responsibility for provisioning and manning of the Base camp and Advance base camp for the team and allied staff for the entire duration of the expedition.

  • 2-man Alpine Dome Tents for up to 12 persons
  • Mess tent and kitchen tent
  • Mattresses
  • Cooks for Indian, Continental and Chinese cuisine
  • Provide guides, escorts and high altitude porters (HAPs).
  • Arrange transport for Members and equipment up to Road-head and back.
  • Arrange porters/ponies up to Base camp.
