On March 24,1975, Patty was barely pregnant with Phoebe. She worked as a waitress and Nicholas waited for her outside the diner. As she got out of work, he followed her and knew where she was going. Patty was going to see Victor at his apartment. She thought she was about to see Victor, but it was a trap. Nicholas wanted to kill her to get her powers, but realized Patty was the mother of the Charmed Ones. She gave him immunity to the Charmed Ones powers in exchange of their lives. Later, Victor and Patty's marriage wasn't going well, because Patty was working with her Whitelighter, Sam, which the Elders had sent for him to guide her and help her in saving innocent lives. In 1976, Patty and Sam had an affair behind Victor's back. After Phoebe was born,Grams(Penny) was sure to bind the Charmed Ones powers, that way Nicholas wouldn't get a hold of them and they wouldn't run into any danger. Nicholas would be waiting until the three sister witches would be more powerful

As the years passed,the Halliwell family lived in peace, just like any other family in San Francisco. Victor was a mortal, and seeing his three daughters, as witches and in danger broke his heart. One day, six year old Prue who had come up with cold. Patty had to do some errands, so she took her two sisters with him and Victor took in charge of Prue. He went downstairs after reading her a story, worked around the house. Later in the day, little Prue heard the song of the truck pass by a few houes, and went down to check it out. She saw a little boy (demon) standing by the truck and something pulled him in. Prue went outside to save him, but she had already went inside and Victor went right in with her. When he brought Prue back, Grams had found out about what had happened. How could he protect his daughters from something like that happening again when he didn't have any powers? Victor didn't want them using their powers, but Grams wanted to teach them, so they could protect themselves from harm. Soon after that argument, he left Patty and the girls. Grams and Patty talked over the situation, and indeed, it was time for them to strip off their powers and live normal lives, that way Nicholas wouldn't be appearing any time soon to steal their powers. The only way the powers can be freed again, was if Grams broke the spell, or she died and instantly their powers would be released.

In 1977, Patty and her Whitelighter, Sam had produced a baby girl. The Elders didn't know about the baby, but it had been said that a Witch and a Whitelighter were forbidden to be together. They decided to take give her away at a Church where other loving parents would take her into their lives. Patty told the nun to name her with something that begun with a "P." Patty never told her daughters they had a half sister, but her mother only. The relationship between Patty and Sam was starting not to go that well. All of the sudden he started to orb away and help other soon to be whitelighters or just help people in need. All of this was a big distraction for Patty's job to save innocents and she couldn't help it, but miss him.

On February 28,1978, Patty was ready to fight her next demon. It was a water demon and she had wrote to Sam that he couldn't be there with her to stop water demon. It was too strong and she couldn't risk loosing him. She went to Camp Skylark, where she used to take her daughters out to swim, but she was there to vanquish a water demon. She goes by the side of the lake, walking up to the dock and grabs a power cable. The water starts to bubble. Sam appears out of nowhere and tries to stop her. She turns around and freezes Sam, leaving him still in his tracks. The water demon raises up and a whole heap of water falls on top of her.It entered her and it drowned her from the inside and with that she died instatly.

After Patty's death, Prue had gone to the park and saw her mother being put in a death bag. She saw it all, and then was taken home by the police. Grams told Prue and Piper that she had drowned in the lake and to never go back there again. Phoebe was only about a year old, so she never got to see her mother in her life. As the years passed, a white cat started to appear by the Halliwell Manor. The Halliwells ignored the cat for a while, trying to make it go away, but it never did. By early April of 1998, Grams was ready to tell them about their destiny. The three sisters were growing apart, and the only way to get their bond together was if they had received their powers and fight evil together. Grams tried telling them, but when she did, she started getting heartburns. She went up to the attic to make a potion to relinquish their powers. She knew that they didn't get along, and thought they couldn't fulfill their destiny as the Charmed Ones. All of the sudden she gets a heart attack, the Halliwell sisters rush her to the San Francisco Hospital and hope everything goes well. Piper takes a walk to the cafeteria and that's when she meets journalis, Jeremy Burns, a warlock that knows that they are the Charmed Ones, and will wait until they get their powers back and get a little strong. He knows that when Grams dies, their powers will be released.

Grams dies and the girls are depressed. They don't have anybody else in the family, except for Dad, Victor who might be on the other side of the world. Prue is engaged to Roger, her boss where she works in a museum. Roger called Phoebe to show her something, but it had been a trap and seduced her. Phoebe told Prue about it, and she confronted Roger, but he told her Phoebe tried to seduce him. She broke her engagement with Roger, and blamed it all on Phoebe and couldn't forgive her. Phoebe moved to New York and the other two sisters got an apartment down town San Francisco. After six months, Prue and Piper moved back to the Halliwell Manor where their family had lived for Generations and did not want to sell the house. For a few weeks, Piper had been talking to Phoebe and had begged her to come back to San Francisco. Piper never mentioned this to Prue, because she was still furious with her.

Phoebe arrived just in time to discover their destiny. That same night, a warlock, Jeremy Burns (now Piper's boyfriend) had killed a witch and stole her powers. As the three sisters were together in their childhood home, Phoebe was playing with a spirit board their mom had left for them. The pointer moved to a few letters that spelled: ATTIC. Prue and Piper did not believe Phoebe and thought she was playing a joke on them. She went up stairs to the attic, but had found the door closed shut. Magically it opened, and Phoebe entered the room and explore inside. A bright light flashed and she walked towards a trunk. She opened it, and found a green leather bound book. It had a Triquetra symbol on the cover, and as she opened the book, she read: The Book of Shadows. When she read the incantation, their powers released and the were safe from warlocks in the Halliwell Manor.

Shortly after phoebe read the spell, Piper and Prue entered the attic, and reprehended phoebe once more for her lack of maturity by believing in witchcraft and spells, and including them in such thing. Little did they know, that the moment phoebe read the spell, their destiny caught up with them, and they became, like it or not, the most powerful good witches of all times, destined to great deeds of good upon the world, to protect the innocents from the forces of darkness with their good magic. Phoebe explained that there were three essential elements to magic, timing, feeling and phases of the moon, which come to see, resemble a lot, the powers our witchy sisters would soon receive. Prue, the strongest and older received the power of Telekinesis, which meant she was able to move objects by willing so, with her thoughts. Piper received the miraculous power to freeze time and Phoebe received the power of Premonition, the ability to see images of things yet to happen, and thus, given the chance to change the future

A new life... As the three sisters learn about their destiny and their powers, they promise each other not to trust other people, but themselves. Prue meets her old high school sweetheart and old childhood friend, Andy Trudeau. Prue works at Bucklands as an auctioneer in antiques. Piper is in charge in a restaurant downtown of San Francisco called Quake. Phoebe doesn't have a job. Leo, a handyman appears to fix the Halliwell Manor a bit, and has a thing for Piper. Later, Phoebe knows his identity: Whitelighter, a guide to help good witches. In early 1999, Andy learns about the Halliwell sisters that they are witches, and then risks his life to save the sisters from an evil demon. The sisters learn that they should move on with life, and save innocents in the world.

In the Fall of 1999, Piper and her sisters open their own club, which they name it "P3", and Piper is in charge of the place. A new neighbor Dan Gordon and his niece, Jenny arrive. Dan becomes Piper's love interest, and she doesn't know if she still loves Leo. Detective, Darry Morris (he was partner of Andy Trudeau) finally learns the secret of the Halliwells after he goes to check on the Manor after a gun shooting. Later, Prue quits her work at Bucklands and becomes a photographer for the magazine,415, while Phoebe is still looking for a job, but goes back to College. In the middle of the year 2000, Piper learns that Leo is her real ideal mate and breaks their relationship with Dan. Leo and Piper get married in the manor and promise to do what the Elders ordered: Their work can't intefere when they are to save an innocent.

By late 2000, the Halliwell sisters meet a district attorny, Cole Turner. He is a demon,Belthazor, sent to destroy the Power of Three. He plans on going through the younger sister, Phoebe and that way he can get their powers. He soon falls in love with Phoebe and soon goes on their side to fight evil and help the sisters in battle. Later, the Source, the captain of all evil hypnotizes Cole, and orders him to kill the Charmed Ones. When the sisters learn that he's been hypnotized, they don't trust Cole and do not accept him in the family. Phoebe pretends to vanquish him, and keep a secret love between her and Cole. Prue and Piper learn that Phoebe hasn't vanquish Cole, and that she has feelings for him. After a few weeks, Phoebe prooves to them that Cole isn't evil anymore and he will help them in fighting evil. With that, Leo, Darryl, Cole and the Charmed Ones are ready to take on any form of evil.

All Hell Breaks Loose.. In the summer of 2001, The Source sends his deadly assasin, Shax to kill an innocent, a doctor who has saved many lives. The Charmed Ones take him to the Manor to explain to him that they need to protect him. In that moment, Shax appears and blasts the doctor across the house. Phoebe comes running down from the attic to vanquish Shax, but it's too late. He takes all his might and blasts Prue and Piper through a wall. They die instantly and Shax leaves. Phoebe calls for Leo and he saves both sisters. Phoebe needs to talk to Cole in the Underworld so he can help them defeat the source, while Prue and Piper go after Shax in broad daylight. He appears and tries to throw an energy ball at them, but Piper uses her new powers and explodes him. Prue and Piper run back to the Manor, not thinking that their lives were at stake. A news crew nearby had filmed their battle against Shax. All hell broke loose.

The news crew spill what they saw and they air it on TV. The FBI, the news crew and other people go to the Halliwell Manor to stop the witches from doing what they do. A woman takes a gun from one of the officers, without looking, and she goes to the back of the Halliwell Manor and shoots Piper in the chest. Prue takes her to the hospital, but Piper dies in the emergency room. By now Leo has told Phoebe what has been happening to her sisters, so they go to Cole and ask him to talk to the Source so he can bring back Tempus, demon of time. The Source makes them a deal, and wants Phoebe to stay in the underworld, in order to save her sisters from all the chaos. She agrees, and everything turns back, all the way till Prue and Piper were taking the doctor to their house. Phoebe is missing this time and when Shax attacks, he sends the doctor flying across the room and throws Prue and Piper through a wall, and he disappears. With that happening, The Source broke his promise,but Leo and Phoebe escaped and went back to the Manor, where Leo could only save one sister, and that was Piper. They had lost their sister Prue, and the Power of three.

Piper and Phoebe are powerless, and soon they are going to be killed without the power of three. Piper summons her lost sister, but the spell doesn't work on Prue, but on their half sister, which was adopted by a good family. Paige, their half sister is drawn to the memorial service of Prue and goes to see. When Paige gives her condolecence, Phoebe shakes her hand and gets a promoniton of Shax killing her. Phoebe realizes that they need to save Paige and to kill Shax. But how? To Vanquish Shax, they need the power of three!. While Phoebe and Cole go to check up on Paige, they see her and a guy having a good time kissing, when all of a sudden, Shax appears and throws her boyfrien to a wall, still alive. Shax throws an energy ball at Paige, but as soon it hits her, she orbs out, and comes back. Paige is so frighten that she leaves the building. Phoebe can't believe that she orbed, but they shimmer after her, and Cole throws fireballs at Shax while Phoebe says a spell to vanquish him, and telling Paige to leave. They lose Paige,and they go straight home. Phoebe explains to Leo that she can orb, but he doesn't seem to understand, and goes to the Elders for some help, while Piper and Phoebe go to the attic and they summon Grams.

Patty (as a ghost) arrives after Grams, and explains to Piper and Phoebe that they have a half sister and this will reconstruct the power of three. Paige, for some reason goes to the Manor, just as Piper and Phoebe were going to look for her. As they shake hands, the chandelier on top of them flashes a bright light, and soon Shax arrives. The three sisters run up to the attic and say the spell to vanquish Shax. This time, he is vanquish for good, and they know now that the power of three has come back. As she begins to sink things in, she learns about spells and to control her powers, which she has the power to move things, just like Prue and has powers of a whitelighter, which she's half. Their new sister Paige is ready to fight evil and they are supported by Leo, Cole and Inspector Darryl Morris.

As the Charmed Ones continue to save innocents and vanquish demons, Paige learns that magic cannot be used for personal gain or pay the price for the consequences. Piper and Phoebe both bond with the new sister and give her advice of what they have learned from Prue. In the underworld, The Seer, a powerful demon that can predict the future, and The Source's assitant has a vision that the Charmed Ones destroy him at the Manor. She tells him this, and The Source has another plan: To unleash the Hallow; is neither good nor evil. If released, the Hollow gathers the powers of both good and evil and grows more powerful. Guarded by both good and evil, the Hollow is secured in an ancient and sacred burial ground. To return the Hollow to its resting state both Good and Evil must work together and chanted the inscription engraved on its box. The Seer things he's gone mad, but he wont stop there. Later in the day, Phoebe has a premonition of Cole getting killed by The Source. He jumps in front of Phoebe to save her, so he tells him to get out of the house in order to save him, but he doesn't know this. The Charmed Ones get ready to vanquish the Source in anyway to finish him, and it's their only chance.

The Source arrives to the burial ground where the Hollow lies and meets The Guardians. He destroys the Angel, and harms the dark angel. He then takes the Hollow out and uses it on the Dark Angel to destroy the Charmed Ones. As he is being sent, he appears in the attic where Phoebe and Piper look for a spell. Piper tries to freeze him, but then her powers are stolen. She throws a knife at him, and he is killed off, while the Hollow returns to it's box. Phoebe was thrown into a mirror and a shard of glass is sticking out of her back. Leo heals her, and learn that the Source has send a demon to steal their powers. The Source examines Piper's freezing power and then sends a Darklighter to kill The Charmed One's Whitelighter. He does so and hits Leo with the poisonous arrow. Paige tries to get the bow and arrow away from the darklighter with her magic, but he steals her powers as well. He is vanquished and the Hollow, once again returns to it's normal state,now stronger.

Cole comes back to the Manor and learns about Phoebe's premonition. He tells him she had seen The Source, a demon with a half face. Later, Cole is being sent out of will to the Underworld and The Seer convinces him to take the Hollow and destroy The Source, before the world ends and he could save his love, Phoebe. He accepts. The Charmed Ones conjure the Hollow to bring back their powers, but it also brings the Source into the Manor. He throws a fireball at them, but injures Piper. In the attic, the Charmed Ones are trapped and they can't do anything about it. As the Source throws his leathal blast of fire towards them, Cole shimmers in the attic and jumps in front of Phoebe. Now that Cole has the Hollow, The Sources powers do not harm Cole, and he throws it back at him. Weakend, The Charmed Ones say the spell that mention all their ancestors, from Melinda to Prue, enough power to destroy the Source, and they succeed.

Destiny has a reason for everything... In the summer of 2002, they go through so many changes, and one choice will change their lives forever.An angel of Destiny appears to the Charmed ones and tells them since they've accomplished their destiny to destroy the Source they've been granted an opportunity to give up all of their powers permanently. They would be taken off the Demon radar forever. They would always remember what they were and who they are. What will happen to our Charmed Ones now?...
