Hello and welcome to my website ! Let me introduce myself and tell you a little about my family. My name is Claire M. Goudeau. My parents are Mark and Jennifer (Lange) Goudeau. I am the granddaughter of Jane Mulherone and Murry Goudeau Jr, and Geraldine (Jerri) Lange and the late Willie McCloskey. My brother is Treg.
I was born with Down syndrome in 2000. In the winter of 2003 doctors at Children's Hospital diagnosed me with childhood cancer called leukemia. I was fortunate that with my parents right by my side for the next 6 weeks or so and family and friends visiting me, I did well.
In September of 2006 my parents home was devestated by Hurricane Rita leaving 2 foot of water inside our home. We evacuated to my grandparents home and at that stage of my leukemia I was almost finished with my chemo. I stayed in remission for almost 3 years.
In February 2007 I was again diagnosed with leukemia. In March I began undergoing chemo again. Please keep me in your daily prayers and all the children that are going through chemo. It is not an easy thing to go through. And remember this is my second time to do so!
