Introduction
I created this website as a reference point for
employers considering hiring me for fulltime work after I graduate in
April. You may view my resume as an HTML file, or print it from a PDF
file. As an example of my hands-on skill, I have included a brief
description of a boat that I constructed from plans patterns, a Glen-L TNT.
About The Author
I am a student of mechanical engineering studying
at The University of Victoria, B.C., Canada. Ultimately, I would like
to work in either the wind or renewable energy industries as a design or project
engineer. However, in the short term I would like to work as a junior
engineer with the aim of attaining professional status.
My hands-on experience is substantial, the result
of years spent restoring on cars cars, woodworking, and creating prototypes
during my work terms. Coupled with my solid modeling skills, this ability makes me
particularly well suited to R&D work.
Comments from my previous co-op employers have all
been positive, citing my work ethic and diligence as my strongest
traits. Some employers have even asked that I stay longer than the
original four months planned. However, the B.Eng program at UVic makes
this inconvenient since the required course are only offered once a year.
