Claude's killer moves

Claude has some good killer moves, although they aren't as good as Ashton or Dias but since you get him early in the game his skills are useful. He's a fast character will good attack power and speed but in the beginning he dosen't have many moves that hit more than once until he's got something like Ripper blast or Twin slash Then he's lethal. I find my Claude very good using skills such as Art and Identify he's almost never misses or makes something crappy. Of course Claude isn't the best but his abilitys are useful,it dosn't matter if you choose him as the main hero or Rena. On this page I will tell you his moves, level you need to be to use it, and the disadvantages and advantages of using his moves.

Phase gun
Level: ---
MP needed: 0
Advantages: This a powerful attack that Claude gets very early in the game. The best thing is no MP cost and does about 800 HP of damage in a single blow.! Claude will usually step back before using this move so you'll be in safe distance it will fire a beam you can't see until it hits the enemy.(1x hits)
Disadvantages:You only get this move until you go to Alan Mansion and resuce Rena then it breaks and you can't use it aging. Otherwise if you start as Rena you only see Claude use it while batting the monster early in the game but you won't be able to use it. And it's the most powerful attack in the beginning of the game...too bad you can't keep it till the end.

Air Slash
Level: 3
MP needed: 4
Advantages: A weak but useful move early in the game. This draws a light pulse beam from Claude sword and will sent in on a line to the enemy, or if your close to a enemy it sends the light pulse across Claude and hits the enmey and others who try to attack him. A good move to use if your on the run and it's little MP cost makes it a good quick move.(1x hits)
Disadvantages:This isn't very strong and enemies will usually walk away when the light is about to hit. Plus using it at close range does only halve the damage so in other words replace it once you level up a lot. in easier terms it sucks! ^_^.

Shooting Stars
Level: 7
MP needed: 7
Advantages: A well resonable move that draws light in Claude's hand and hits the enemy up to 3 times! in close range. If used long range it's like air slash but faster. It sends a powerful light beam at the enemy. It's a good move because most enemies will walk up to the attack and get smuttered in taking about 3 hits so it's useful espically facing the boss at the helderly forest that's if you choosed Claude as the hero.(3x times)
Disadvantages: Once aging it's not very powerful and at times it will only hit once and when using this Claude backside remains open for enemies to hit him. And once a enemy gets hit it will bounce him back so he or she can escape. It's not bad but replace it later.

Head Splitter
Level: 12
MP needed: 9
Advantages: The first real powerful move Claude gets. This will make Claude jump in the air and make him come down with his sword implanting it to the ground. This is useful when escapeing magic attacks because when Claude takes to the air the magic will have no effect, plus try using it in the beginning of the battle it's so cool. Claude can do about 900 HP on the enemy when you first get it and does double damage for flying based creatures and another plus you can avoid enemies in the mist of attacking you. And Head Spiltter is easy to hit agingst big creatures so it's a must.(1x times)
Disadvantages: A big problem about is you usually miss beacuse the target is fast, gets out of the way or is too small to hit. And it cost a lot of MP's so don't use it a lot. Ever heard practice makes perfect...your going to need it using this move.

Energy Sword
Level: 20
MP needed: 11
Advantages: Of course it's a healing attack duh.! This draws energy in Claude's sword and restore HP's. It will start restoring 255 HP but the more you use it the more HP will be restored. A good move to use in the Lacour Tournment (that's if you choosed Claude) and if you don't have any healers in your group. Pretty much it dosen't hurt the enemy but it wouldn't hurt to have a haling move right.(1x times)
Disadvantages: Well it's costly and it dosen't restore as much HP in the beginning unlike Rena's Cure Light which just blows. And you have to wait a bit before Claude gets healed so enemies can hit Claude and stop him from using it continue this pattern and your dead. Stick with Rena or Noel because Claude's move sucks and it's slow.

Burst Knuckle
Level: 28
MP needed: 12
Advantages: A powerful attack that draws fire from Claude's fist and burns the enemy, if your at long distance it will sent a fireball heardling at the enemy. This a strong attack that does 1200 HP when first aquired so it's pretty useful agingst enemies like plants and animals. It's explodes after it's used so it can hit the enemy even if he walks away a bit, and it quick to use and it's MP cost is good.(1x times)
Disadvantages: Well fast enemies will run away quickly making Claude miss his attack and fire based monsters don't take as much damage to it. The other bad advantage is like so far with Claude's other moves it only does 1 hit.

Ripper Blast
Level: 38
MP needed: 17
Advantages: A strong move that will summond jagged rocks from the ground and create a barrier around Claude and any enemy who touches him takes damage about 1000 HP to be excat. This is good for a group of monsters coming to hit Claude and it can be used to protect the party from danger. And it can hit flying enemies that are annoying to hit plus it can do a combo. It's good to use when going to the Hoffman ruins and the Eluria tower.(3x times)
Disadvantages: It's takes awhile for Claude to use this attack so enemies can get a quick hit in just before he uses it, and enemies can go to Claude's backside and hit him. It's not very special agingst bosses espically the wise man so look for another move.

Twin Slash
Level: 45
MP needed: 15
Advantages: Here we go...this is one of Claude's best moves.! Twin Slash will make Claude jump up and slash twice in the air and the best thing it does about 4000 HP in total when you first aquire it. It also dosn't cost much MP and it works on enemies walking away and it's good on bosses espically the wise man. And teaming up with Ashton or Dias with a double team you'll pummel the enemy very quickly. What else can I say expect this is a good move to keep for the entire game.(2x times)
Disadvantages: You may miss often when using it and Claude backside is open when doing this. Enemies may sheild this attack and if so it will take awhile before Claude attacks aging but it's decend so there ain't much disadvantage this move.

Dragon Howl
Level: 53
MP needed: 28
Advantages: If you want a move that can out rival Ashton's Dragon breath well here we are. This attack does 2400 HP damage in total it can do 12000 HP if your luckly and all this when you first learn it. Claude will summond a dragon and blows it white breath that will hit the enemy or multiple creatures. It's quick to use and better than Burst Fist and Twin Slash and my Claude has this move and it can do 6000 HP of damage per hit so I think it's quite useful. Plus it's good to use on the Wise man and Indaleico. By the way my Claude is at Level 123.(6x times)
Disadvantages: Ewwww...do I have to diss my favorite move. Well sometimes Claude will miss the enemy which is a problem and it takes awhile for Claude to use aging after missing. That seems to be the only big major problem.

Sword Bomber
Level: 62
MP needed: 35
Advantages: When I first used this move it looked like Cloud's meteorain move. Claude will jump up and fire 4 fireballs down at the ground which can do about 3200 HP a hit of course this is the amount of damage when you first aquire this. It will groups of enemies and will save Claude from getting pounded by enemies. It's fire based so it works well on all creatures.(4x times)
Disadvantages: Claude might miss the enemies and it dosen't have a good chance agingst flying based. To me it's not good on bosses espically the Wise man. I don't like this move because it will usually get 1 hit. But if you use it a lot it may come out in the end. You'll have to find this out I don't like using Sword Bomber. (I only used it about 45 times).

Mirror Slice
Level: 70
MP needed: 38
Advantages: When use this move you'll feel gaining Claude all those levels make it worth while. Claude will go in a cyclone like attack that will the hit the enemy about 9 times.! This does about 4200 HP a hit and this is just when you first aquire it in total it does about 37800 HP of damage.! Claude will also have a good chance at stunning a enemy and dealing out more pain. And enemies won't be able to sheild this because they will still feel the after effect of it. And even after using this it's can be used very quickly aging.! How can you go wrong with a good move like that? this very good in the hidden dungeon and facing Indaleico and the other wise men.(9x times)
Disadvantages: Well Claude only has a slight chance at mising the target and it's costly but the effects that it can do...it's worth it.! And another problem it's Claude final move of the game. Not too much more to say about this expect try using this a lot and you'll the difference.

The best attacks to give Claude

To me Claude should be equipped with quick attacks, also give him the Link combo do deal out painful moves. Take advantage with Claude's speed and attack power. Here is what my Claude has of course this is a guide you don't have to follow in my footsteps but try experimenting and you'll find the right moves that suits you.

1.) Twin Slash and Sword Bomber

2.) Dragon Howl and Mirror Slice
