How many other designers are actually going to show you what their competition not only charges, but also offers? Some of my competitors actually charge less money, but don't have the same options that I offer. All of the following information was gleaned from researching my competitor's sites (as of 1-27-01) and I include their URL's if you'd like to verify the information.
I think you will find that we offer equal, if not better services for our clients than our competition and we do so at very competitive, if not extremely inexpensive prices.

This is one of my major competitors in the realm of designs for Domestic Pigeons. They have built
a large number of small sites and were the first pigeon web designers on the web. Lately, they have not had the same exposure as prior.

Basic Page includes one page with up to four photographs. Cost $40 for 60 days. If you want a  longer period, you are asked to e-mail them. Multi site pages are an additional $30 per page. Additionally, if you want more than 4 photos per page, there is an additional charge of $5 per image.

This is another one of my main pigeon site competitors. They have been around a few years, but have not yet put up any true numbers of sites.

Their personal home page option includes an index page, an information page, a photo page, a links page, submission to search engines, a guest book and a counter. There is $50 initial set up fee. They offer the same services to clubs for a $100 initial set up fee. Additionally, any updates are $10 for text ($15 for clubs) and an additional $2.50 per photo.

Innate Designs is a standard web design firm who has built sites for a handful of animal breeders.

They charge $65 per page, plus an assortment of extra fees per month starting at $15 a month with no updates and upwards to $45 a month with four updates. Add another $10 per hosting increment if you classify as a business. In addition, the actual update fees are as follows: $5 per page for any text changes, $10 per page for any graphic changes, $15 per page for text and graphic changes and $25 per new page.

Another major designer who's built a few animal related pages.

Compunet charges a $995 initial site set up, plus an additional $100 a month to host the site. They include 20 full color images or photos, 1000 words of text, your logo converted and added to the site, 15 links, submission to search engines and a guest book. Can we say "OUCH!!!"? They will however guarantee their work to get you 4000 hits in a year's time.

Equine Web Design is considered the foremost designers of Equine related sites.

They charge an initial set up fee of $500. Pedigrees for studs can run from $25 to $100 extra per animal. Guest books are an extra $50 to register and install. Image work is an additional $65 per hour. Production or other records are an additional $100 per page. Customized guest books are an additional $75. In addition, standard maintenance is $65 per hour. Links pages are an additional $25 and up. If you want to have your breeding contract appear on site add another $25 or more.

Bostons In Common is a major designer of sites for Boston Terriers.

Their "Plan 1" includes 4 photos and 200 to 300 words of text. They'll even include a link to your e-mail account. All of this for $50 a year. Their "Plan 2" includes the above, but only 2 photos and 150 words of text all for $25 a year.

Pet Net is a widely used designer of pet and animal related sites.

Their "Package A" includes: 3 pages, up to 18 photos, a 5 MB account, domain registration, a custom e-mail address, 1 complimentary update, an annual search engine submission and a listing in their directory. All for an initial set up fee of $150 plus an annual fee of another $150. Package B doubles your space, photos and pages with an initial set up fee of $300 and an annual fee of $200. Package C and Package D triple and quadruple your options, but the price also jumps up to set up fees of $450/$600 and an annual fee of $250/$300.
