Jorin Bloodfang – Great Wolf of the 13th “Wulfen” Great Company

 

Any Space Wolf 13th Company warband may include  Jorin Bloodfang.  If you decide to take him then he counts as one of the army’s HQ choices.  He must be used exactly as described below and may not be given any extra equipment or wargear. In addition, he may only be used in a battle where both players have agreed to the use of special characters.

Wargear: Master-Crafted Frost Axe, Plasma Pistol, Runic Armour, Wolf Tail Talisman, Wolf Pelt, the Wulfen Stone, Mark of the Wulfen, Frag and Krak grenades, Melta Bombs.

 

SPECIAL RULES

 

Wulfen:  As the Great Wolf of the 13th Company, Jorin he is subject to all Wulfen rules as detailed in Codex: Eye of Terror.

 

Wulfen Stone:  This ancient gem was found by Jorin on an Eldar Crone world whilst the company was stranded in the Eye of Terror.  It has since been set within his armour by one of the Company’s few surviving Iron Priests and has the unusual property of amplifying Jorin’s Wulfen rage to far beyond that of the rest of the Company.  Its horror can be borne by few creatures and as a result, if he wins an assault in the same turn that he charges, his opponents automatically fall back.  Opponents that never fall back or ignore Morale checks are not affected.

 

In addition the stone generates a field around the armour that gives the Jorin a 4+ invulnerable save.
