The Future Is Waiting
ADVANCED HYDROPONICS AND TISSUE CULTURE FOR SINGLE CELL PROTEIN
To make inexpensive food stuff (example a "brick" size food block
for 25 cents to provide all nourishment for a week) these techniques
should have been developed and applied years ago.
FUTURE HOUSING NOW
Actually return to middle 20th Century designs improved with present
technology to be very cost effective and providing superior comfort.
Example the steel shell concept and products sold by the company
http://www.steelmasterusa.com/ insulated for home use.
Providing open space with no internal building supports, and a cost
per square foot one tenth of conventional "stick built", concrete,
dome, or of any "green" material buildings using adobe, straw
bales, tires, and so on. Steel shell housing can be disassembled and
moved to a new location when the occupants wish to move. It has a
structural life that can be centuries, not just a few years or decades.
Using end sliding doors the entire house can be opened to the outdoors.
Internal wall mounted screens with projection web cam images to
simulate "windows" can provide a virtual presence anywhere in the
world, in addition to security viewing of the property where the house
is located. Using Ken Isaacs living module concepts for furniture indoors
("super-chair", and so on), and movable partitions to determine interior
"rooms", an indoor pool, and more, all provide a much superior home
experience compared to the primitive architecture still common in the
so called "developed" countries.
This basic shell design has been used for greenhouses for years using
clear plastic panels, and such a greenhouse on the same property as the
house can provide all hydroponic grown food stuff for house occupants.
It is way past time for society to grow up and start living in the
21st Century when it comes to housing. Society must find other ways to
promote "growth" without using labor and material intensive building
construction of unaffordable housing to provide employment. Steel shell
housing has always been the answer to mortgage free affordable healthy
enclosed housing.
Industry and government that deny people such housing is criminally
negligent in its responsibilities and should be removed.
ENERGY METHODS OF CHEMICAL SYNTHESIS
Electrodischarge apparatus for making industrial chemicals in
small quantities from natural gas or propane, air, and water.
For example acetylene, ethylene, hydrogen cyanide, nitric oxide,
hydrogen sulfide, ozone, hydrogen peroxide.
RE-BREATHER FOR DIVING TO 1000 FEET
Underwater breathing apparatus using oxygen partial pressure
sensor to control breathing mixture. How to make the sensor,
connecting it to a solenoid valve, regulating breathing mixture.
This equipment suitable for diving to 1000 feet.
DIRECT BLOOD OXYGENATION FOR DIVING TO UNLIMITED DEPTH
Applies direct blood oxygenation with an extra corporal hollow
fiber membrane oxygenator and special pump to provide function of
divers lungs (filled with isotonic saline solution). Notes on
procedures to nullify pressure related nerve conduction problems,
and details about the artery shunt valve design for connecting
body blood flow into the oxygenation and carbon dioxide
removal unit. Used in conjunction with an ambient pressure sea
sled for power support and to carry exploration equipment.
Designed for diving to 20,000 foot depth.
THE SEA VEHICLE
Different designs for personal submarines suitable
to live in and travel. The sea vehicle uses liquid
oxygen made from air on the surface, and a hydrocarbon, to
fuel a turbine for underwater travel (exceeding 100 knots
at maximum power) using a laminar flow hull design
derived from bio-dynamics of dolphin skin to greatly
reduce hydrodynamic drag.
THE LIQUID AIR MACHINE
Used to liquify gases, using readily available electric
power, to fuel personal vehicles), for refrigeration,
to make oil free high vacuum pumps, to supply breathing
oxygen, and to make rocket propellant.
The many designs and methods of making liquid air and
extracting liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen, and argon.
THE ROCKET USING CHEMICAL PROPELLANTS
The design and cost analysis of building a chemically
fueled 2-stage orbital rocket with balloon tanks,
the fluid piston (very low cost) propellant pump,
the ablative barrier wall rocket engine, inexpensive
guidance controls, using liquid oxygen and liquid
hydrocarbon for fuel.
THE ADVANCED ROCKET ENGINE CHEMICAL PROPELLANT
Uses atomic hydrogen collapsed to the sub-ground state
to make "hydrino" compounds that when reacted add
enthalpy to hydrogen-rich rocket propellants to give
specific impulse over 1000 in a rocket engine.
THE SMALL NUCLEAR FISSION POWER REACTOR
Methods of reducing minimum size criticality of
natural uranium fueled heavy water moderated
nuclear fission power reactors. Includes extracting
uranium from seawater with simple apparatus to
procure enough uranium for reactor start-up without
enrichment.
SOLID STATE CATALYZED FUSION FOR ROCKET PROPULSION
How to activate the DD fusion reaction in bulk pycnodeuterium
nuclear fuel using EMP activation and compression. Requires
densifying the nuclear fuel to enable propagation of the
fusion generated energy release in the fuel.
About 20 times enthalpy addition from the fusion reaction to
low molecular weight reaction mass for over Isp 1000
propulsion. Uses inexpensive low palladium content
pycnodeuterium. Combustion experiments with the PDRE using
enthalpy addition from pycnodeuterium nuclear fuel
to conventional chemical propellant reaction products are to
determine design parameters of an operational system.
