Mosh Pit , Broke Arm , Good Day --- By Greg

My friends and I were going to a Kittie/Slipknot show in the city. After 3 hours of waiting in the stadium the show started. There were 2 opening bands , each played 30 minutes. Then the lights got dim and after that completely off. Then the first part of Brackish started playing , we couldn't see anything though. When the song started to get really heavy the lights came on red and starting blinking from purple-red-purple-red and so on. They played for about an hour and 30 minutes. They went off and about 15 minutes later Slipknot came on. They played the song Slipknot (its on their first album , Mate Feed Kill Repeat..). I was loving the show so far. I was very close to the rail and people started jumping and moshing around me. Two guys ,alot older than me picked me up and threw me into the rail. After that they picked me up and threw me over it and I landed on my arm and broke it. A security guard helped me up and carried me backstage and put my arm in a splint. He knew that I wasn't moshing with the people and that the guys beat me up for nothing so he gave me a backstage pass. He was really nice about the whole thing and said he was sorry for the arm thing. I asked him where Kittie was , and he pointed down a long hall. I started walking and walking and then I looked in the kitchen and I saw Morgan getting something to drink. I walked in and she looked back and smiled. She hadn't eaten yet so we sat down and I talked with her while she ate. Afterwards she invited me back to where the rest of the band was. When we got there they all greeted me and stuff. We hung out and watched an episode of South Park and listened to some Coal Chamber songs. Then Slipknot's Cory (#8) walked in and greeted us with a "Sup Ya'll" (he did it in a southern style). He looked at me and said "Dude what the hell happened to you?!". I told him and he was all like "I wish them stupid big guys would stop picking on kids smalled than them. Corey gave me some pictures and alot of autographs and a free Slipknot CD. Kittie gave me alot of stuff... They gave me the Coal Chamber CD , another Kittie CD that was autographed , and tons and tons of pics (to roles of film). Morgan gave me a number to call when they are back in town so that I could come back and hang out with them. So I had a really good time even if I did break my arm.
