Standard banquet tables are 8' x 30" and seat 8-10 people.
Round tables are 60" round and seat 6-8 people.

BALLOONS
Use an odd number of ballons in a bunch.
Table decorations...use 3-5 in a bunch.
Floor decorations...use 7-11 in a bunch.
Balloons floating loosely on ceiling create an overall color effect.
Eleven inch balloons are most common. An eleven inch balloon ( helium quality balloons) will float approximately 12 hours. ONLY USE HELIUM QUALITY BALLOONS.
FOOD
1 1/2 tablespoons per person for nuts or mints. 1-1 1/2 pounds will serve 50 people.
1 gallon of punch will serve 30 people using 4 oz. (1/2 cup) servings.
2 1/2 gallons will provide 50 servings plus 30 refills.
For 250 people or less use a gallon fountain.
For more than 250 people use a 4 or 5 gallon fountain.
One pound of coffee will make 60 cups.
One case of champagne serves 50 people using a 4 oz. glass.
Use a champagne fountain if you're serving champagne or Wine.
Use a punch bowl if you're serving an ice cream punch.

FLOWERGIRL PETELS
Artificial petals or ribbons are safer for flowergirl petels. Real petels are slick for new shoes and will possibly stain the carpeting.

Allow 1 usher per 50 guests.

For fullness:Daisies, Chrysanthemums,Carnations, Baby's Breath.
For simplicity:A single long stemmed rose, a single Callalily, a prayer book or white Bible and single flower.
For a cascade: Orchids, Stepfanotis, Camellias.
MONEY SAVING TIPS
Use Bridal bouquet as "Centerpiece" for reception.
Use Family hierloom wedding dress. (They're usually better quality and have more detail)
Use large "dummy" cake for the presentation and serve small cheap sheet cakes to guests.

50% for reception location, food, drinks, and candelabra rental.
10% for flowers and misc. decorations.
