Here's what happens when I get on a particularly lucky streak in my drawing skills. It only happens rarely, and I can never draw good unless I have the urge. I cna normally pull off a lot of good stuff in short periods of time. And NO, nothing is traced! I'm not a tracer, tracing is not drawing, it's tracing. I may look at pics for help and to have something specific to draw, but I never trace.

Untitled
!!NEW!!
I got really bored in my Digital Video lecture and started this. A couple weeks later I found it again and finished it (for the most part). I really like it, despite some of the obvious mistakes I made (and her lack of hands, which I will hopefully fix someday).
Dino Kid !!NEW!!
He's cute!! Not much else to say about him. He's more of a doodle, but higher quality than a doodle, so he's in here. I actually inked him o.O Hope you like him too ^_^
Tsumari !!NEW!!
Well, this is one was fun to draw. I forget how exactly she started. I think with the eyes, which is typical for me. After I got the general shape of her face, I decided I really wanted her to have those long, wispy bangs like some anime chars I've seen. I had trouble with the rest of her bangs, so I decided to just have her hair be pulled back. As for the rest, it basically drew itself. In case anyone thinks her thighs are too narrow, you are correct, in a sense. If it were a straight-on view, they'd be much MUCH too narrow, but she's turned slightly, one leg pretty much in front of the other, so that's why it's like that. Still prolly a little disproportionate, but hey, it IS one of my works after all. :P
Untitled !!NEW!!
Umm.. I dunno. I really really like it, when it first started.. it was a boy.. then I erased the baody cuz the face turned female and I liked it, and I think it's still female, tho some people think it's a boy. I drew it while waiting for my mother to come out of one of her "classes" at my RIT Freshman Orientation. I really like how it turned out, and dun ask about the horn.. It was originally a hair spikey that demanded to become a horn.
Aquaria
Started this in Calculus on a Thursday, and had it finished by Saturday afternoon. Not a bad time span for a drawing I'm so happy with. It took me forever to get her stupid body, and her arms were originally supposed to be across her chest, but her hands wouldn't cooperate, so she joins the ranks of drawings with their hands behind their backs. Her head's still a little disproportioned, as is most of the rest of her body, but oh well, I still like her. ^_^ BTW, those things on her arms are fins, cuz she's a Water Sprite, so I thought fins on her arms would be fitting, if you dun think so, I dun care. ^_^
Calculator Magic
Drew this on my TI-83 Graphing Calculator. Took me a couple days to do it. Looks awesome tho, I really like it, almost better than some of the hand drawn stuff I've done. It's really hard cuz there's no way to undo a mistake, so you gotta save like EVERY time you get something done you like, so that when you screw up, you just clear the screen, reload, and start over from the last saved part. It was fun tho.
More Calculator Magic
Another pic I drew on my Calculator, actually I drew this one before the other one. This one is more DBZ-ish style, and it was really hard trying to get the hair to look nice and everything, but still was fun ^_^.
Bird
Well... it was SUPPOSED to be a Firebird... but it looks more like it's furry. Oh well.
Boy Angel
Hmm.. what to say about him... I like his wings. I really screwed up a lot on his head and face, it STILL doesn't look the way I want but I've already erased almost completely through the paper. Coulda been much better, but it's still good enough to qualify as a drawing, and it's not THAT bad.
Girl Angel
I really like how this turned out, except the wings.. heh. Take the boy's wings and give them to her, she'd be perfect. I drew her before I drew the boy tho. If Only I'd done a better job on those wings. Oh well, I really like the way her face and body and hand and everything turned out. One of the few pics I'm really proud of.
Cute couple
I drew this while I was camping. I had wanted to draw something like this for a while, but it was HARD! I started out with the faces and went from there. I think it turned out really well.
Aideon
This is a character picture I drew for a friend I role play with. He's a Drow prince. It took a lot of practice to figure out how to get the ears to look right, and the hair was SUCH a pain. But I really like the way this turned out. A color version can be found in the Color Section of the site.
Wyvern
Here's a goofy looking Wyvern (dragon without front legs) that I drew while camping and going to Renaissance Festivals.. I think this was at Pennsic, the big war thing. I had just gotten my hands on a plush Wyvern, and drew him. Not quite exactly like the toy I have, but it looks similiar.
Cool Wyvern
Inspired by the above pic, this one is meant to look more realistic and less "cutesy". I can't figure out what to do for the feet.. so I guess he's doomed to have no feet. I also sat on a hill for about half an hour staring at the moon and chasing fireflies while I drew this.
Cool Dude
Oh my god he has feet!! Not very good feet, but hey, them are feet. Heh, this was my first pic I drew where the person had feet, I feel so proud, even if they do suck. His eyes are kinda freaky, but I like them. I worked on this pic for about 10 minutes everyday over a period of a week or so, in my Participation in Government class. I like how he turned out.
Happy Dude
One of my very first (cool looking) Anime drawings I did. I drew the hair first (weird huh?) and then added the face and body. It's obvious I tried to get his hand behind his head but I just couldn't pull it off. And he has one hand visible! It's a miracle!! I have just as much trouble with hands as I do feet, if not more.
Sad Dude
The very first (male) Anime style thing I drew. I had drawn crappy Sailor Moon style girls before, but only about one of them was worth keeping, so they've all been banned to my "suck" folder and stuffed in a box, never to see the light of day again. This pic isn't really that good, he kinda resembles my cousin irl, but for a first try, I think I did good.
Pretty face
I am so incredibly happy with the way this turned out, even tho I had to fix it up on the computer a little. Sorry about the dark and light spots, I traced some light areas in pen and they got darker than the rest. This pic was turned into a relief sculpture (adding on and carving away) by myself in my ceramics class. In the process it went from a femal face to a male face, cuz the clay wouldn't cooperate, but it still looks awesome. Hopefully I'll get a pic of it up here soon.
Duo!!
What can I say? It's Duo Maxwell! Everyone loves this adorable, fun-loving gundam pilot. He's probly my all time favorite Anime character (granted I've not been exposed to a whole lot of Anime), but who could top Duo?? I think no one.
Another pretty face
I dun really know where she came from, I think the same camping trip as the Wyverns. Kind of Tenchi style, with the hair hanging down over the ears there. Honestly tho, I can't remember what inspired her other than boredom and perfect lighting at the picnic table. I really like the way it turned out tho, she looks like a girl, and she looks pretty at that.
Fun with colors
I got myself one of those black paper notebooks, with the unlined paper, and a gold and silver gel pen, this is the result. I drew it lightly with pencil, then traced over it with the gold and silver. I like the way it came out color-wise, tho I think I could have done a better job at the actualy picture. This didn't go in the color section because it's not actually colored, it just HAS color.
Fun with colors 2
The male counterpart to the above pic (so sue me, I like having guys for the girls sometimes). I really like the way he came out, same process as above, but much better result. He's so simple but he just looks so cool. Another pic I'm really proud of.
Princess
Gold pen on white paper. I think it came out really well considering I had no plan at all, and couldn't erase any mistakes. I just wish I hadn't colored in the eyebrows.
Princess 2
Poor princess looks sad. Another experiment with closed eyes. I think it turned out well, cept for a few mistakes. I colored the eyebrows again, and messed up her hair and tiara a little. Oh well, I still like it.
UFO9
Good old UFO, my character I use when I role play. Notice she looks a lot like the char pic I have at the top of my chat profile. Well.. that's because I was using that pic as a reference when I drew this. I really really like the way it turned out tho. I screwed up a little on her shoulders and around the top of her shirt, but other than that it came out great.
Girl in a skirt
Erm... yeah... for the most part a really good picture.. other than the fact that she looks like a boy. Figures, I finally manage to draw a good body and the face has to be messed up. What can ya do tho right? I'm pretty happy with how it came out.
Trunks
A picture I drew of Trunks from the Cell saga. It came out really well, other than the quality of the scan was kinda bad. I personally think it looks a lot better in color. I was using a referece for this pic, a pullout poster thing of him fighting against Cell in a magazine I bought.
Trunks (again)
This time he's from the android saga, when he first comes back from the future. The younger, cuter Trunks. ^_^ I think it looks ok, I messed up a lot tho. The proportions are all wacky, and the color version is just worse I think. I had a reference for this too, from the same magazine.
Yugi
This is a pic I drew of Yugi from the anime Yu-Gi-Oh. I read about it in the same magazine I had for the Trunks pics, there was a really long article, it seems pretty cool. There was also an entire page dedicated to a picture of his face, which I used as a reference. This came out really well, but there's no shading cuz I planned on coloring it. The color version looks WAY better since there is shading and much more detail.
Winky
Oh god, please don't judge this at all. It was whipped up as a last minute addition to a project for Gov't. He was our candidate for the presidency and we had to make up his platform, what he was for and against and why. Yeah.. he looks about... I dunno.. not one of my proudest moments.
Chibi Vegeta!!
He's so adorable, ne?!?! I had a reference (yeah yeah yeah, so I can't draw my favorite chars without a reference) and I think this one came out REALLY well cept for the few obvious mistakes. The original is framed and hanging on the wall, lol.
Vegeta
Not the greatest fanart of the almighty prince of Saiyans, but what can I say. I drew this in... 10th grade I think? Yeah, two years ago, off the top of my head. No reference or anything, so I think it came out pretty well.
