Here's one of the few classes in school where I actually WORKED on a regular basis, Ceramics. By far one of my faves, this class was just awesome. Ima miss that class too, I was in it for 4 years, with the same teacher every time, cept this last year I had BOTH ceramics teachers at once, cuz I'm such a ceramics nut I was in 2 different classes at the same time. ^_^ This section will be dedicated to showing what kinda cool 3-D stuff I can pull off when the mood strikes. Some of these pics are kinda big, so they may take a while to load. And NO, not everything I did was anime style, tho I realize it seems that way based on this page. I actually have a lot of really awesome ceramics (not sculpture, but actual ceramics) stuff.. but no piccys :(. Hopefully my digital photography class next year will fix that... come home...take pics, update this section. ^_^ And also hopefully I'll be able to take ceramics as an elective next year.. having to go an entire year with no clay exposure will prolly kill me.

Completed Dragon Sculpture (real title/name still in the works, suggestions welcome, just e-mail me.. preferably something to do with stars, the moon, or the night).
Ok, FINALLY got piccy's of the final project!! A few tips tho.. the wings and belly are actually a dark dark dark violet, like the background of the Peaceful Twighlight painting, cept a little darker. And the body is BLACK, but the camera flash made the areas where the glaze is thinner show up more, and thin black glaze has a green tint. It was also modelled after the Dragon/Wyvern pic, and I colored that pic to match the colors I used on the sculpture. I realy REALLY like how he turned out. The MONTHS of work was worth it. ^_^ Several people at school tried to buy it.. had offers ranging from 20 bucks to 1 kid offering 2000 (he dint actually have it, but if he did, I'm pretty sure he woulda actually done it). Even the teacher was trying to steal him. The Snapple bottle is there for size reference.

Completed (but still untitled) Sculpture: 3D Anime (title/name suggestions welcome on this one too.. there is some sort of link between him and the dragon tho.. maybe a fic in the future?)
Awww!! He's so cute!! But ALL the colors were messed up by the camera flash!! GRRR.. His skin is actually this really cool brownish red.. burnt auburn color.. his hair is a brownish silvery purple.. and his pants are BLACK NOT GREEN! Same problem as with the dragon. I still needa find something to use as a hair tie/clip thing, which is the carved line across his hair.. his hair is partially tied back there. YES HIS!! IT IS A HE!!! I really like him tho. Made himseld, started as idle carving of a lump of clay, ended as him. ^_^ Bottle for size reference.
Ceramics: Anime Style
Here's an Anime style relief/addition sculpture I made in ceramics. It took forever cuz the hair kept breaking or cracking or falling off, and the drawing it came from was a female, but in the process of making the project the actual sculpturey thing became male. It turned out pretty well, I really like it.
