This is for all you new people, so listen up, cuz I'm only gonna say this once! Anime is Japanese slang for animation. The first anime was "AstroBoy" which aired in 1953, since then anime has become a worldwide business, inspiring new-age punks to become artists, and has brought animation to a new level of detail. There are many animes out there, here is a short list of my (Heero_Yuy_gundam_pilot_01) favorites: Akira, Gundam Wing, Guyver, Appleseed, Bubblegum Crisis, Dragonball Z/GT, and Ghost in the Shell... I know there are some that I forgot, it's just there are too many of them... so if you see an anime movie in your local video store, grab it, cuz trust me, it's worth it!
