Group Lesson Information


The FGFSC offers USFSA Skating Lessons for all ages and level skaters.

Snowplow Sam


Beginning group lesson program for young children. This program teaches children the basics of skating and provides a safe and fun environment for them to learn.

Basic Skills 1-8

Programs for the more advanced skater. This program will not only teach skaters the essentials of ice skating, but also will teach them the beginning jumps and spins as they advance.

Jump and Spin Class/Freeskate

This program is geared to bridge the gap between group lessons and private lessons. This program is for skaters in freeskate levels and above. Skaters will learn more advanced techniques and jumps. Jump Spin is divided into high(Axels and above) and low, so all level skaters are welcome!

Precision Skating

Taught by Sergei Pospelov, this program teaches the fundamentals and basic principles of synchronized skating. Classes run from 4:30-5:00 Thursday evenings.

Basic Skills, Hockey 1-2
Thursdays: 4:00-4:30pm Snowplow Sam, Basic Skills, Freestyle
Saturdays: 12:40-1:10pm Snow Plow Sam,
Basic Skills, Freestyle 1-3, Hockey 1-2, Jump and Spin Class(Off Ice)
