Empowering young people to achieve more...

...by improving self-esteem and worth this will reduce low-level crime, high unemployment, high benefit claims, high teenage pregnancy rates, and one of the highest Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET).

Who we aim to work with

In particular, the programme is aimed at 15/16 year olds who are underachieving and have lost interest in their own development. Sometimes referred to as pre-N.E.E.T

This may be through their lack of self esteem or through challenging home and family circumstances and may include low aspirations from self and family. The programme aims to empower young people to achieve more.

EDUCATION– Funding Pending

Text Box: What we do
Through our Life Coaching programme young people in secondary education will be enabled to develop an understanding of who they are; why they are who they are - and who and what they could be, and achieve better academic results by improving their own self view and interpersonal skills.
During five one-on-one weekly coaching sessions young people will be encouraged to explore themselves and their ideal futures. This culminates, on the final session, in time travelling into their own future to experience the success they could achieve and discover how they arrived there.
Each young person will be presented with a certificate of achievement in a school assembly.
Key teaching staff will be trained in the Life Coaching programme to enable sustainability at the school, along with additional group sessions and visits to the schools by Golden Giraffe.
