Bought early in 1999 fom Tara Coppins,Taraco stud. Mickey is a top show quality section C colt by Royal Welsh winner Gellihaf Brenin and out of the lovely Ceulan Bukkarah Ddu by Derwen Railway Express. Mickey is a G.Grandson of the legendary Lyn Cwmcoed Really flashy chestnut with 4 long socks and a lovely blaze. He is a superb section C with wonderful conformation, lots of bone and feather and super action.
Licensed in 2001 as a 2 year old he covered the Champion Mares Rangeview Rosa and Cigeons Debutant. A difficult decision has been made and he has now been gelded as his future will be as a top class ridden pony and he can be guaranteed of a better quality of life as a gelding once he leaves here.Mickey has been sold. August 2003 - B.S.P.S. Summers Championships 2003 Congratulations to Pat Emsley, J Harley and Nancy's Ap Brenin winning the M&M Summer Heritage Open 138cm WHP class and 2nd in the M&M Novice 138 cm WHP. Mickey was aslo placed in the M&M novice ridden so had a fantastic week.
July 2003 - Mickey was Ridden Mountain & Moorland Champion at The Great Yorkshire Show
May 2003 - At the British Show Pony Society Winter Championships Mickey Won the Welsh B & C section of the Winter Heritage M&M Novice Ridden Championship. Well Done Mickey!
April 2003 - Mickey is already winning under saddle Having qualified for the Heritage Novice, Restricted Open and OPEN M&M WHP classes at the BSPS Winter Championships. Congratulaions Pat.
