Bryan Michael Stoller - Seminar appearances

Bryan devotes his time in between films, speaking at seminars and classes throughout the United States and Canada. When he first moved to Los Angeles, he had no contacts, no family in the business, and no mentor. Bryan's passion for teaching (giving back what took him thirty years to learn) comes from his empathy of needing a mentor in Hollywood, "It's a tough business and you need all the encouragement and inspiration you can get."

Bryan has lectured at many actor organizations and schools including; The Casting Break,, Action in Acting, APS, PAG Workshops, as well as teaching several courses on "The Secrets of Filmmaking" for the Learning Annex throughout California and Ontario, Canada. He has also taught a week- long intensive seminar on "The A to Z's of Filmmaking" at the Summer Institute of Film & Television. The seminar included such topics as: writing screenplays, options, financing, casting, budgets, storyboarding, producing, directing, acting, post-production, music and distribution.

When asked why he fills an evening or weekend with making appearances at various seminars or schools, Bryan states,"Teaching is one of the most immediate and sincere gifts you can give to people, it's like giving to a charity, but instead of limited dollars, you're giving unlimited knowledge and direction to a hungry audience."

When Bryan often lectures in Los Angeles, as a guest speaker, he feels he's giving valuable information including much needed encouragement that actors need to hear -- and often doesn't charge for his appearances.
