Healers:

Healers are needed during wartime, after an attack, and to heal the winner of a DM, unless the winner can heal themself. A healer is needed to heal the body after an AA to prepare it for a soul's return. Their healing is NOT part of the rezz but rather a separate ceremony and not included in the rezz which priests alone can do. Healers use their dice just as anyone else except instead of inflicting damage, they are healing with every point rolled.
When healing, the healer must use only two dice and hit for at LEAST 2 points every round to keep going. Healers will use the standard hit table of 20/30/40 for healing, 20 for Mortals, 30 for Half-Breeds, and 40 for SuperNaturals. A Combatant healer gains a set experience of 400exp for healing a Mortal, 600exp for healing a Half-Breed, and 800exp for healing a SuperNatural, with 20exp gained if a miss occurs before healing is complete. A Non-Combatant healer gains 25exp for every point rolled whether the healing is a success or not. A Non-Combatant healer may not blatantly roll beyond what is required for successfully healing a person.

Priests & Priestesses

Priests and Priestess can be of any alignment. They are not healers, although they may be a priest and a healer, they are actual clergy, the ones who raise the dead, remove curses, etc. Priests and Priestesses can heal and fight and can be of any faith or title. All the duties listed below are the duties of a priest or priestess and cannot be performed upon one's self. Priests and priestesses cannot be killed during wartime, unless they are fighting as well as performing normal priest/priestess duties. For services that require no roll, exp's go higher depending on how formal and how complicated you make your ceremonies. The priest or priestess may require the subject to pay a tithe to their church or god/goddess for all services rendered.

Blessings- Done to the person they increase the number of sides rolled by 5 (i.e. if you are d60 you would then roll d65). The Blessing lasts for 24 hrs and cannot be performed on anyone with dice above d70. A Blessed person cannot be cursed and a cursed person cannot be blessed without first having the curse removed. The Blessed person MUST have a cerificate of Blessing from the Priest and carry such as proof of the Blessing (also must list in profile-date and time of blessing and temporary dice sides)
Blessing of a Weapon- Enhances a SINGLE Blessed weapon for a period of 24 hours. Roll is dependent upon the strength of the enhancement. A total of 10=+1, 20=+2, 30=+3, the maximum enhancement being +3. Priest must give a certificate of blessing along with the log to the owner of the weapon. A blessed weapon cannot be cursed and a cursed weapon cannot be blessed without first having the curse removed. Weapons that are already registered enhancers may NOT be blessed.
Counciling & Confession- These logs are considered under the seal of the confessional.
Placing of Curses- Target does NOT have to be in the room for curse to take effect, but log MUST be sent to the target immediately upon completion of the ceremony. Curse Must have a valid reason, and be PRE-APPROVED by the Lord of Chaplains and Apothecariate. Curse works as if negative damage enhancer, i.e. a -2 for minor curse, -3 for major, on all rolls made by the cursed. Date and time of curse must be contained within the log.
Cursing a Weapon- Same as above except, if weapon is not drawn or used then the curse does not take effect. The Specific NAME of the weapon, as listed in profile, MUST be stated by the priest in the log of the cursing.
Removal of Curses (from weapon or person)- Does not need to be the priest who placed the curse, but choosen priest and the cursed MUST be in the same room at the time of the ceremony. Ceremony must contain specific name of person or weapon cursed and the details of the curse itself. Date and time of removal of curse must be contained in the log. Clergy retain the right to refuse to remove a curse.
Soul Transfers- Used to change from SuperNatural to Mortal or vice versa. Because of the very nature of a Soul Transfer and its drain upon the subject and the priest, if failing, the priest and subject may NOT do another Soul Transfer for a period of no less than 7 mun days. Soul Transfers are not to be taken lightly, to prove such, all Soul Transfers must have a reason verifiable by the Lord of Chaplains and Apothecariate.
Resurrections- Can only be performed by priests or priestesses, more than one priest or priestess is allowed to work together to rezz the dead.

Priests and Priestesses use two dice when performing duties such as healing, resurrections, blessings, curse removals, soul transfers, etc. All rolls must be hit in a row without missing, a miss is when a score of at LEAST two is NOT achieved. If a miss is made, the priest or priestess is awarded 50 exp's for failed resurrections and 20 exp's for all other ceremonies. All duties and/or services must be logged to count for exp's and said log turned in to Lord of Chaplains and Apothecariate for verification that healing or duty was done correctly. You must state what is being done at the beginning of the log. You must list the total of "hits" per person at the end of the log, if hits were needed. The Lord of Chaplains and Apothecariate will decide the amount of exp to be awarded for all ceremonies with no roll, with a minimum of what is listed in the above chart.

If a priest, priestess or healer take a Non-Combantant status to devote themselves fully to the calling upon their lives, their exp for all duties increases but they may NOT turn in ANY spars, nor anything else, for exp except their above listed duties. They must have listed in their profile that they are Non-Combantant and they cannot be AAed, KAed, nor killed in any war. No priest/priestess or healer is required to take such a status but the option is open to all those who wish to do so.

Under no circumstances may a person who commits suicide be rezzed. Any person who commits suicide in front of witnesses and keeps a log forfeits all rights to a resurrection.
