Period 3: Drama I

Now that you have developed a character and made a simple profile for him/her, it's time to start actual role-playing. Before I start explaining how to do this, I need to go over some criticism. Some people believe that the mun (the ooc person) and the char (the ic person) should be completely seperate by all means. They are to be two completely different persons, and the attitudes and the beliefs of one should not at all affect the other.
Don't be a stupid mun. Don't take IC problems OOC.
However, some RP as if the char is a reflection of the mun. But this is not a course on Drama Criticism, this is just an introduction to role-playing. I highly suggest that once you complete your basic education, you take Drama II where we go more in-depth with the various styles and requirements for your potential future.
Now, to display any sort of action, you use :: :: around the action.
Example: ::walks in::
With practice, your actions should become longer and more descriptive in nature.
To display sound effects and basic sort of actions or "Otaku" actions, you use * * around the sound or action.
Example: *cough* or *poke* or *anime fall*
Now, when fighting, it is a soft of ballet, one where you do an action, then roll dice. What are your dice? Well, assuming that you are in no real guilds, you have 2d20, 3d20 or 4d20, depending on your life status. 2ds are Human, 3ds are Halflings, and 4ds are Immortal. If you do choose Immortal status, some guilds do ask for proof of Immortality. If you are wondering about your character's life status, or need some advise on how to becoming Immortal, please contact one of the counselors.
