train.
The now famous, thanks to John Rocker, number 7 train, travels from Times Square in Manhattan to Flushing Queens. This train is one of the busiest trains during rush hour. In order ot accomodate all the commuting passengers, a diamond express service was added. The number 7 train uses some of the oldest cars in the MTA's fleet: The Redbirds. Set to be replaced by the R-62's in the year 2001, the 7 line will be the last line that runs the redbirds. The number 7's infamous stop is by far Willets Point. There passengers get off to go to Shea Stadium, home of the Mets, The US Open, and The Queens Museum.
