Star 1-Climb your way to the top of the mountain. On top of the mountian you will meet the Big Bob-omb King. Battle him by picking him up from behind and tossing him down. Be careful not to throw him off of the plateau. Once you toss him down three times he will give up and give you a star.
Star 2-At the start of the course you will see the giant Koopa turtle standing close by. He will challenge you to a race to see who can make it to the top of the mountain the fastest. He will try and cheat but if you do he will make a big fuss. If you make it to the top first you win a star.
Star 3-There is a big Chomp that is chained to a post close to the beginning of the course. Avoid him and butt stomp on top of the wooden post he is chained to. Stomp on the post three times and he will be let loose, don't worry though, the Chomp will break a set of bars nearby making it possible for you to get the star.
Star 4-Talk to the friendly pink bomb guys at the beginning of the course and they will set up the cannon for you. Launch youself up to the courses only floating island. On the island there is a star.
Star 5-Launch yourself back onto the floating island where there is another cannon. Use this cannon to launch your self through the rings of coins nearby. If you can target the middle coin in each of the 5 rings you will get a star. Another way to get this coin is to fly through the rings using the winged cap if you have activated the red switch block.
Star 6-Finding the red coins is fairly simple on this level. There are 5 around the mountain and in the fields. There is also a red coin on Chomp's post, one under the bridge and an additional coin on the floating island.
Star 7-To get star seven you need to collect 100 coins, wait until you have the red switch block activated so you can fly through the rings to get all of the coins.
