OH BROTHERS WHERE ART THOU

Sometimes we stop to think and that is a good thing. But it becomes more profound when we meditate. Such is the case with me today. I sit amid the chaos of a Starbucks Coffee House and think about the past in a manner to feel the energy we possess as soul mates.

I think about the process of thinking apart from meditating and it is a sober thought indeed. I know there is a paradigm shift that has occurred in the recent past for man and for me. I think again of the staple that Coffee Connection had in my life. It provided for me a chance to ponder, and ponder I did.

I thought of the somnambulism that man has become so accustom to. How we drift from event to event. And as we do how each event causes us to hope. We have the same desires to effect our life's as well as those we communicate with. We go from deep thoughts into simple smiles and sincere hello's with enough substance to accomplish much and we can open new horizon for us and others provided we pursue them. But as when we read a good book we turn the page and it is gone. It leaves our presence and we take only a small amount of that energy with us. That part we feel passion for. The part that moves us to change some aspect of our thinking by introducing a new or an exciting thought. We feel as though we might have groped upon a nugget for our future.

Perhaps we have, but only by continuing to meditate on the value of the nugget can it keep it's stage or stonecap position in our life. We can allow the most important things in our life to dissolve if we forget to think about them. We have entered a new age and it will take more than a vague effort to endure. It will take passion, commitment and lastly integrity.

When I travel back in my minds eye to the times and the discussions we had I feel I became a iconoclast and I experienced a epiphany. I felt as did the men in the 1800's once the railroad was discovered. That things have changed forever and there is no way to return. Life was to be thought of and about in a new and explorative fashion for that time onward. You see with the addition of the railroad, things could be done in a much more effective way. Ideas once just thought about, could now become reality.

Man had not changed but his efforts had been amplified and thus with the same efforts or even less he could accomplish much more. These events have occurred in history and they are much easier to understand in retrospect. But the challenge comes from being able to escort or become a cicerone to others.

But it takes continued efforts to become a pioneer on this planet. We are constantly being bombarded with the efforts of others to instill an agenda in our mind as a done in computerese.

The key to resisting is independent thinking and meditating so as not to become a drone. It is much easier to say than do, we are in a continuous fight not to live in a trance. But the natural thing to do is conform. We do it so we can flow with the times.

But I contend, do we really want to float effortlessly down stream allowing society to tact us at will? If you are still with me at this point it is a good thing. As the railroad, telephone, computer, automobile and other distinct and multifarious events occur, we too have a chance at molding our future by applying what we learn with persistence and integrity.

For years and years man has been convinced of certain eventualities about life. And just as he becomes comfortable with them, well things change. As they have once more. We have bridged the gap between thought made by analytical or empirical methods to that of Noetic or driven by the inter mind. The subconscious thinking we now feel more and more at ease to explore. We are ridding ourselves of the myths and going where we might not have gone before with a new and determined effort.
And it is the mind amplification that has allowed us to take this massive step.

We learn and build on that knowledge more and more until it becomes an obsession with us. Once we exprince the use of the sub-conscience mind we can feel the void of it's absence in an instant. We are astonished with the things we seem to experience but we need to explore, to learn more, about how things can become an "extension" of our mind. How once we were limited to an archaic drawings on rocks from there to the ability to write with pens and paper to the ability to express ourselves in extremely advanced computer programs. Manipulating bit maps and streams of data to express ourselves in a way that was not long ago beyond the concepts of the average mind. When many of the inventions and discoveries have be brought to light, the general public has lagged way behind in the knowledge of them and the uses that they might hold out for us in general.

However with the exploration of the sub-conscience mind, it is the masses and the individual experiences that are far out in front of technology and it is for once a chance for them to follow. But follow they will, and in a short time they will succeed in catching us and surpassing us with their ability to form entity where we posture alone. We can have an ontological mindset but we need to communicate between ourselves to accomplish more. When the universe spun me out it attached a divine reality of things, lives, and the mind.

We have been allowed to live at a time when mankind will have to deal with fundamental psychology that "we, through our belief systems create our reality". That knowledge multiplied will like every other industry reach a crisis point or saturation point for each one of us. And unless we have prepared ourselves we will stifle ourselves with the masses. We have reached a point where "we must acknowledge" the need for deeper understanding of our spiritual nature and the essential use of this in our present day society.

We have to explore with a passion known by few the limits of the human mind. Where does it's power cap out? How do we continue to use the exponential use of knowledge as an asset rather than allowing it to submerge us in confusion. We are overwhelmed with information on a constant and unending flow, week after week day after day and even minute by minute. Unless we "kick back" both literally and symbolically and meditate on the path we are taken we will find ourselves in unison with everyone else who might have tasted the use of the sub-conscience mind but never really pursued it with the passion it deserves.
With all our hearts we should search for knowledge that can safeguard our present and future moments. We must not become lethargic in self discovery because we are consumed in our every day life. We have to see the bigger picture of how things are changing and how we in turn are either victims or a lodestar in a tumultuous time.

We have to see that in this time we are living in there exists an concerted effort of both political and industry to propagandize us. Through music, television, radio, video, and every other media known and some not known, we are being enticed to follow and act as we are trained. We want grand things for ourselves and in time we might achieve them. But time is so valuable it is given to us moment by moment.

So unless we master the use of the individual moment we are lost in time.

We are destine to become a statistic another mind led along by the few that choose to standup. So at the risk of becoming trite I have to, say, we should at the very least explore and share with each other in the realms of e-mail. We should not let every valuable moment pass us by but savor some for sharing together. Because then the names we possess will be titular. And we will cease to mold the most powerful force in the universe...our noetic abilities.
I took one more lap
and ran another mile
I spoke my mind again
at risk it makes a file
I chose to open up
and expose the me within
so until my call is heard
I guess I'll call again
