“Too late, Frack—if that IS your real name!”
Valerie shouts.
“But, but--” Nick stutters. “It’s NOT my real
name.” He trails off weakly.
“That’s not the point right now, Carter.” Chris
says. “She loves me. Don’t you, angel?”
“It’s not that there’s no place in my heart for
you, Chris. I’m sorry. We aren’t meant to be. It’s just that, I’ve
already been burned by one boyband member. I can’t let that happen
again.”
“Ummm, I haven’t.” Courtney says as she eyes JC.
“I’m open to that.”
Courtney throws her arms around JC’s neck.
Just as their lips are about to touch, Valerie opens her eyes. Sunlight
streams across the bed.
“Are you OK, babe?” Joshua Jackson rolls over towards
Val.
“Yeah, I’m fine. . . just had a weird dream.
How are you?”
“I was just thinking. . .”
“Yes, honey?”
“Does it bother you that I’m Canadian?”
“Oh Joshua, I don’t care who you are, where you’re
from or what you did, as long as you love me.”
“You don’t know how good it is to hear you say that.”
A Valerie smile, pulls baby Pegasus out from between
their bodies, snuggles closer to Joshua and drifts back to sleep.
The End! Finally!
