“Too late, Nicky! You should have thought of
that before you were Larger Than Life.” Valerie sneers.
“But why can’t we be together again?” Nick cries
in anguish.
“I love someone else now . . .so there!”
“I’m glad to see that you are so mature about this
. . .” Nick tried to intervene.
“Shut up, Nick!” Chris breaks in. He throws
another punch at Nick, sending him sailing across the stage. He collides
with Alex. And they both crash into the electronic game board, electrocuting
themsleves.
“That’s what I call Canadian bakin’!” JC exclaims.
Courtney looks at him, entranced. She knows she’s in love.
“Valerie, is there room in your heart for
me? I’ll give you the best of my life. . . everything I own if you
need it. I just wanna be with you. I’m crazy for you.”
“Oh Chris, you drive me crazy. . . what can I say?
I need love, and you got it. I know this is more than a feeling.
When you’re not here, it tears up my heart. I never knew what was
missing in my life. . . it was like there was some riddle I just couldn’t
solve. But now you’re here. It’s all so perfect.”
Chris runs to Val’s side. “It could be a bumpy
ride. . .”
“I don’t care as long as I’m with you.”
“Well, here we go then!” Valerie throws her
arms around Chris. As their lips are about to touch, she opens her
eyes. She slaps her alarm clock, turning it off. “I guess some dreams
aren’t meant to be.”
She glances at her framed picture of Chris.
Her eyes bug out of her head. Attached to the frame is a note reading
simply, “Somewhere, someday. I’ll be back for more.”
The End? Well not really . . .
