Chapter 32:  The plan unfurls

Terri came back downstairs to find Chris finishing up the fritata that Val had made for breakfast.  Val on the other hand was looking over some sloppily drawn blueprints.
“I’m tired of leaving you kids your alone time!” exclaimed Terri.  “I don’t care what I walk in on because I NEED my breakfast.”
“Um, sure Terri,” Val exclaimed as she attempted to hide the blueprints before Terri could see.
“Val!” Chris exclaimed through his bites of egg and cheese.
Sadly, it was too late.  Terri had the blue prints in her hands and was looking over them quizzically.
“What the hell is this crap?” Terri asked.
“Honestly Terri, could you please watch your mouth?” Val said.
“Yeah,” Chris added.  “You know perfectly well that Val is posting this story to a 13+ mailing list and website.”
“Oh sorry,” said Terri rather absent-mindedly.  It was pretty clear that Terri was only interested at looking at the blue prints.  “Okay kids, why do you have a copy of the blue prints to Lou’s house?  What exactly are you up to?”
“Nothing . . .” Val attempted rather feebily.
“Maybe we should tell Terri,” Chris started as he looked at Val’s banged up knee.  “We need to do this tonight before you girls go back into rehersal and I’m not sure if I want you on your knees with that bad cut you got this morning.”
“Um Val, what exactly were you going to be doing on your knees tonight?”
Chris choked on his food, and in an attempt to preserve her clean reputation Val blurted out-
“Chris and I have discovered that Lou has been stealing money from us and we wanted to prove it so we were going to break into his house tonight and get pictures and documentation of what he is doing so that we can take him to court and get the hell away from that scary old man before he has a chance to rob us all blind and make us bitter has-beens before we girls even had a chance to get started!!!!!!”
“Damn!” exclaimed Terri.  “That was quite the run-on sentence!”
“I don’t think you are getting the point of what I am trying to say here . . .”
“What kind of a person do you take me for?” asked Terri in a horrified tone.  “I trust the two of you one hundred percent . . .that is after the results of your drug tests get back.”
     “Terri, I’m serious!”
“Okay, okay!  I was only teasing!  Tell you what small fry, why don’t you just tell JC and I what you need to get done and take the night off?  You seem a bit strung out anyway.”
“Do you mean that?” Chris asked excitedly.  “That means that I’ll finally have a chance to um . . . talk to Eva tonight.  Terri you are the best!  All you have to do is climb through this vent here.  If you run into any problems, call Val through this transmitter . . .”
“Don’t I have a say in this?  Why do I suddenly feel left behind?” Val cut in.
“Quiet Val,” Terri insisted.  “I’m trying to listen!”
“Fine!” Val spat.  “I’ll go calibrate the homing devices for you and JC . . .”
Val walked off in a huff.  She wasn’t sure what made her more upset: the fact that she had been brushed off so quickly, or that Chris would be seeing Eva that night.

Chapter 33: For-eva and Eva

Chris took a deep breath before knocking on the door of Eva’s house.  With Val tracking JC and Terri, he finally had the chance to do something that he should have done two months ago. . . break-up with Eva.   Too bad that his hormones were caught a bit off guard when she answered the door in a red silk nightgown . . .
     Meanwhile:
Val chewed nervously on the end of her pencil as she watched the two radar dots move across the screen.  Terri and JC were surprisingly quick.  Could it be that everything was going to work out just fine?
“Hola Chica,” said Carlee as she stuck her head into Val’s room.  “What are you watching?”
“Um, just some old SailorMoon reruns . . .”
“Well I was just talking to Joey and we thought that it might be fun to go out for a banana split or something.  If your knee isn’t bothering you too much, I thought that you might want to come along.”
“Thanks, but I wouldn’t want to be a third wheel.  Not to be rude, but it’s not the most fun to be left alone in the booth at the Waffle Shack while you two ‘make sure that the bathroom has soap’ if you get what I mean,” said Val.
Carlee blushed.  “How about we bring you home a Flying Saucer?”
“If you make it vanilla, we have a deal!”
Carlee nodded and headed out to the hall where Kelly and Kathy were waiting.
“Yup,” she told them. “Val, Terri, and the rest of them are definitely up to something.”
     Back with Chris:
      “Damn Eva,” Chris swallowed hard.
     “Yes, well . . .I like to be comfortable. . .”
“Do you have some free time tonight?” Chris quickly cut in.
Eva raised one of her eyebrows . . gosh this boy was needy . . .
“No!  I don’t mean that, I think we need to talk about us.”
Eva merely motioned for him to go inside.  Chris walked silently into her living room before sitting down on the couch.
“What exactly are you trying to tell me, Chris?” Eva sounded annoyed.
“I guess that there is no easy way around this, so I think it might be best for me to come right out and tell you.  Eva, I want to break up.”
The next sound Chris heard was a plate whizzing by his head.
“I see, you have a mid-life crisis, cut your hair, and now you want to get rid of me . . .you mother [unchristian words . . .a whole lot of them]."
Chris jumped up and tried to hide behind a nearby chair.
“I’ll kill you before I let you leave me for another woman.  You are MINE until I tell you otherwise,” Eva was out of control.
     “Look, I’m sorry that you’re hurt . . .”
“Me?  Hurt?  Oh, this is nothing compared to what you are going to feel once I am done with you.  So Chris my darling . . .you didn’t really want to have children at your age, did you?” asked Eva as she pulled out a gleaming pair of kitchen scissors.
Chris’ eyes widened in fear.  Nothing was going to stop him from getting out of that house before Eva had the chance to um . . .rob him of his “manhood” so to speak. . .
Eva made a dive for the chair Chris was hiding behind.  Missing Chris by mere inches, Eva managed to plunge the scissors deeply into the side if the chair.  Shocked, she paused for a moment in an attempt to free them.  This moment was all Chris needed to run out the door and head over to the girls’ house.

Chapter 34:  Code Plaid

Terri and JC found themselves completely enamored with the idea of solving the mystery of Lou and the lost revenue, and being the people they are, they found the experience of crawling through air-shafts to be one of the most sexually stimulating they had experienced in the last 48 hours.  This of course lead to the idea of mackin’ it in the air-shaft.  Being the boisterous personalities we have all come to know and love, our two lovebirds got into the experience in a way rather too graphic to grace the pages of this story.  We’ll leave it to your imagination, but lets just say that the experience landed them square in the middle of Lou’s desk when the ceiling panels gave way under the uncommon weight and stress placed upon them.  Lucky for the fate of both groups, Lou was busy bathing in his pool of money about half a mile walk from his desk, and we all know that Lou isn’t going to be walking that distance any time soon.
While Terri and JC were examining the finer points of the infrastructure of O-Town, Chris was still sprinting from the evil side of his one-time love.  As Chris came careening into the Girl Thang pad looking for Val, Carlee, Kelly, and Kathy saw their opportunity to find out exactly what was going on and why they hadn’t been informed of the fun.  The trio caught Chris off guard and snagged him before he had a chance to get to Val’s room and away from Eva’s wrath.
“SPILL!!!  We know something is going on and we want to know what’s up.  So, spill.”
“WE HAVE A SITUATION!!!!  Code PLAID. The alarms are going off.”  Val came careening down the stairs and into the living room before Chris had a chance to first stop panting and second answer the questions.
“I was afraid something like this would happen, its time to move into phase two.  We’re now running Operation leggo-my-eggo.  We’ve got to get those two out of there now.”  Chris switched into mission mode completely forgetting to exclude the extra three girls.  “Val, get the car, I’m going to get the guys, we may need their help.”
“HAULT!  I’ve got the keys and you can’t have them until WE know what the (unchristian word) is going on around here!” Kelly put the smack down.
“Oh, its nothing to worry about we just suspect that Lou is robbing us blind, my vision has been getting worse, hasn’t yours?”
“WAIT, are you telling me that there’s a chance that I’m not getting paid for my hell, I mean Mall performance with LFO?”  Kelly and Carlee turned a sickly shade of green.
“Bingo, and we sent Terri and JC in to investigate, but there seems to be a problem, god only knows what could have detained them…It seems that the pressure sensors on Lou’s desk have been activated.  I just don’t even want to know.  We’ve got to go in and get them before someone finds them.”
Just then, Val got a message on the pocket transmitter she (and the authors) had forgotten they had given Terri and JC.
“Where the heck are you people?  Did you get the stuff??  Okay, we’ll be there.”  Val grabbed Chris and the keys from Kelly and was out the door before anyone could figure out what had happened.
Fifteen minutes later, she and Chris arrived back with a very red-faced JC and Terri.  From the pouty looks on the two faces, it was quite evident that Val had given them a good talking to about the appropriate times for spy role play-sex and how it should NOT be done in the event of actual important spying.  From the look on Chris’s face, he liked it.  (Let’s not forget that he was once turned on by Eva, a bitch and a half) He likes his women feisty.
“Val, that was pure evil, I liked it.” Chris turned on the flirt as he raised one eyebrow and looked at Val (once again ignoring the other girls who had been waiting for them to report back).
“What the hell are you looking at?” Val snarled at him.  “We have a serious situation here.  Lou’s people could be dusting for their butt prints even as we speak!”
“So I guess that now would be a bad time to finally cut in and tell you that I broke-up with Eva tonight?”
“I don’t care what you did you. . .wait, did you say you broke up with Eva?” Val froze and stared at Chris not unlike the way she did the first time she met him. Deer in head lights baby, deer in headlights.
Before Chris could say anything, the group distinctly heard sirens off in the distance.

Chapter 35: Contact and a missing contact

A short while later, everyone convened outside only to discover that a single police car and an eerily familiar black limo had parked right outside their house.  When Lou stepped out of the limo, the girls all looked ill.  When Eva followed closely on Lou’s heels, Chris subconsiously moved his hands to cover his crotch.
    “Good evening ladies,” Lou said.
“Good evening Lou,” the others chimed.
“Now kids, you know how I hate to bother members of my ‘family’ on their night off, but these two blue-clad gentlemen have reason to believe that you kids might be involved in the break-in that occurred in my office this evening.”
    *Silence*
“Hmmm. . .I was thinking that you girls might like to do an appearance with No Authority next weekend.  Carlee, I hear that one of them has been asking for your phone number. . .”Lou threatened.
Carlee tried her best to hold back, but No Authority, come on. . .
“Actually Lou, it’s funny that you should bring that minor break in up, because we were involved in it.”
When Val heard these words escape Carlee’s lips, she immediately passed out on the grass.  Chris rushed over to her and cradled her lifeless body in his arms.  Eva could feel her cheeks turn red in anger.  Carlee just continued on with her story.
“The last time we had a meeting in your office, I lost a contact.  Sure, I figured that I could get away with wearing my glasses this weekend, but they are just so uncomfortable.  Terri and JC were just trying to get it back for me.  We thought they could just sneak in and out. No harm done.”
“Yeah,” Terri cut in.  “Look for yourself.  It doesn’t LOOK like we were rummaging through your important confidential documents or anything silly and suspicious like that.”
“She is right sir,” said police guy #1.  “There were no signs of disturbance other than that hole in your ceiling.”
“Well, if nothing else was damaged and my files remain confidential, I guess that I can over look your impetuous behavior.  Just don’t do it again.  And to prove that I mean business, I am going to use your money from the Mall appearance with LFO to pay for the damages.”
“Go ahead,” muttered Kelly bitterly. “We would never have seen a penny of it anyway. . .”
“What did you say?” asked Lou turning his attention to the angry girl.
“Thank you for being so understanding” she said with a fake smile.  “We promise that it won’t happen again.”
“Humph,” said Lou as she glared at the girls in an annoyed manner and turned back towards his limo.  The girls all sighed in relief as he waddled away.
Chris on the other hand was too busy fretting over Val.  He risked his life breaking up with a total psycho, only to have an unconscious girl with a damaged knee-cap lying quietly in his arms.  Damn his luck.  To make things even worse, Eva was walking towards them with an evil smile on her face.  She bent down next to him and whispered menacingly into his ear.
“So, now I see whose side you’re really on.  Don’t think for a moment that I don’t know what you and your little bitch are up to.  Perhaps, Lou should know too...” With that, she moved to Lou’s side and climbed back into the limo and was gone before Chris had a chance to respond.
Val was slowly coming to as the limo pulled away from the curb leaving a frightened Chris and four pissed off girls and JC in its wake.
“What happened?  What the hell did you think you were doing Carlee?  Lou could have killed us for that…you almost killed me!” Val remembered what had caused her to land in the grass and to wake up in Chris’s arms…it wasn’t all bad.
“Babe, chill.  Are you okay?  Carlee took care of it, and if she doesen’t get her ass over here and make sure you’re fine, I’m gonna take Joey to a strip club and leave him there to find his way back in his own time.”  Chris let his feelings show a little more than he had initially intended.
Everyone exchanged knowing glances as Carlee hurried over to help Val from her fallen position and save herself the trouble of looking for Joey in every brothel in town for a month or so.
“I think we should maybe tell the guys, don’t you think?  I mean, everything is chill for now, but who knows how this could blow up for all of us.” JC voiced the concern each of them was feeling.  “Why don’t we all have dinner over at our place and we can talk about what’s going to happen and what you know as well as what we found.  Say about 6 ish?”
“Sounds good baby, we’ll be there.  Right girls?”  Terri accepted the offer.

Chapter 36: Jacee becomes a main character

The next morning the girls awoke to find a voice-mail from Jacee.  Val was the one to listen to it first and brought in the rest of the girls to listen to it too.
“Hey there girls, I heard from a little bird that you kids might have had something to do with an incident at O-Town.  I might be able to assist.  Meet me at the mini merry-go-round outside of Woolworths at 2 pm.  Make sure that only a few of you come so that no one notices.  Don’t worry about finding me.  I’ll find you.” *Click*
“Well that was certainly ominous. . .” said Kathy as she went over the situation in her head.
“Yeah, well who’s going?” asked Terri.
“I think it should only be two people, and since not all the guys knows what’s up yet, that kinda limits our choices in the matter,” observed Val.
“So I guess this means that it’s you and me Val,” said Terri.
“What?!  Who said that I was going?! Don’t you think that I have had enough drama in the past few chapters?”
“You can’t ask the younger girls to take the risk, and this really doesn’t involve Kathy.  Come on Val, don’t be a punk,” threatened Terri.
“I’m sure that it will be fine,” said Carlee reassuringly.  “This will be good because then you can report back on everything when we have dinner with the guys tonight.  Just remember to bring your cell phone in case you get there to discover a knife wielding maniac with your name tattooed on his forehead waiting for you.”
“I believe Nick Carter is out of town,” Kelly quipped.  “But then again, it could be some other guy with your name tattooed on his forehead this time.”
Val gave the other girls a sarcastic smile.  “Thanks a freakin’ lot for your support.  Remind me NOT to let you write my eulogy.”
“But if you’re dead, how can we remind you?”
“AH!” exclaimed the exasperated Val as she hurried upstairs to get ready for the day

**T’s talks** Now I am sure that you all know that Jacee is neither threatening or out to harm the girls in anyway.  However, her meeting with them is indeed important, but for the sake of time, I think that it might be best for us to skip straight to the dinner party.  This way we can all find out what happened together, like a family. . .**

Kathy, Carlee, and Kelly arrived at the guys’ house at 6:07.  They had thought of waiting for Terri and Val, but after 4 hours they were still not back yet.  While the rest of the crew finished preparing dinner, JC and Chris cornered Kathy.
“Where are Terri and Val?” JC asked her.
“There was a strange message on our machine this morning. Some woman offering to help us with the whole Lou thing.  Terri and Val went to go meet her and find out what’s up,” Kathy answered casually.
“You let my girlfriend go traipsing off to go meet some psycho in a dark alley?” exclaimed JC.
“Actually, it was outside Woolworths . . .”
“What were you girls thinking?” interrupted Chris.  “You’re in the public eye now.  You can’t just go running around the way that you used to.  It is just not safe for you to have secret meetings with crazy fans without bringing someone along to make sure you're okay,” scolded Chris, panic strewn across his face.
“All right Lou.  They have their cell phones.  They would call if. . .”
Once again Kathy was cut off, this time by the sound of the doorbell.  JC and Chris sprang into the foyer to answer the door.  JC got there first and threw the door open.  There he discovered a happy (but tired) Terri and Val.  He quickly grabbed a hold of Terri and embraced her.
“I was worried,” he whispered into her ear before taking her by the hand and leading her towards the dining room.
Chris on the other hand acted a bit differently with Val than JC had with Terri.  Grabbing Val by the wrist, he pulled her into the sun-room right off of the living room.
“Ouch,” whined Val.  “Chris, what’s your damage?”
“I figured that you and I needed to talk.”
“Um, what about dinner?” Val asked meekly.
“Val, I think you are missing the point here. . .”
“Fine, fine, fine,” Val tried as she sat down and prepared herself for a good talking to.  “You know Chris, we sure do fight a lot.”
“I was worried about you.  Why didn’t you tell me and JC about your little meeting?”
“I figured that we could handle it.  Nothing bad happened, in fact we have some really great news for everyone.”
“That’s beside the point, do you have any idea how upset I would be if anything happened to you?”
“Why are you acting like this?  I’m the one who should be railing on you.  You broke up with Eva without even telling me about it.  I thought we were friends, and who knows how long you were keeping that a secret from me.  Then when I go out to help all of us get out of O-Town, and you go postal on me.  You’re acting like some crazed overprotective boyfriend!  Why would you ever go and do a thing like that?” Val started to put things together in rapid succession.  “Oh my go…” She was interrupted in her blasphemy when Chris swiftly pulled her off her chair and covered her lips in a tender kiss.
“That’s what this is all about.  I knew I needed to break up with Eva, and I wanted you to know at Loveline, but she would have killed me.  I had to keep it a secret until the time was right.  I need you Val.”  Chris looked deep into Val’s eyes and she knew that he was telling her the truth.
Val didn’t know what to say.  She hadn’t let herself believe this had a chance.  Things like this just don’t happen to an ordinary girl like her.  She stood there in shock, slowly she began to cry.  This was the one thing Chris couldn’t stand to see.
“Don’t cry…oh baby, please don’t cry.  I’m sorry… I won’t do it again.  I’m such an ass…  I shouldn’t have taken you by surprise like that.  Val I’m so sorry. I’m so, so sorry.” Chris began to pace, broken by the thought that maybe he had read the situation all wrong.  Maybe he had fallen so hard and fast that he never thought that maybe, just maybe Val wasn’t looking for the same.  Maybe she didn’t feel the way he did.  He had lost her without ever having had her?
“Don’t be sorry.  Forgive me for acting like such a child.  I have just never hooked-up with a member of *NSYNC in a fan fic before.” Val came out of the trance, smiled warmly, and did what she had wanted to do for months.  She reached up and brought Chris’s face back to her own.  She tentatively kissed his lips.  The electricity between the two was palpable.  The kiss deepened as both Chris and Val clung to one another as if letting go would kill them.  Chris placed butterfly kisses all over Val’s face and neck, telling her how beautiful she was and how he didn’t deserve someone like her (just like a good fictional boyfriend should do).  As the embrace loosened, the two locked eyes exchanging in looks what both wanted to express in words.
“I’m the luckiest guy in the world.”
“What’s taking you two so long…oh, sorry…” Terri walked in to find our newest lovebirds locked in a deep kiss.  “Guys!!! They’re snogging!!!!”  Terri yelled to the dining room where everyone had been not so patiently waiting for Chris and Val to appear.  A cheer went up in the background.
“It’s about shaggin’ time.  Val’s all he’s been talking about for weeks now.  Let’s eat already.”  JC was snickering to the beaming crowd as the glowing Chris and blushing Val joined the rest of the rest for dinner.

**T’s Talks**  And so ends the chapter that Val has been waiting for ever since we started this story.  Hope you enjoyed the huge goo factor because this type of writing was a first for CSC, and we are not sure we can do it again.  Val could die.**

Chapter 37: Just kidding, we don’t talk about Jacee until THIS chapter, or do we?

“….so basically Jacee bet Lou that he could not create the world’s least talented, but most popular girl group.  That leaves us with two options, we either need to find some way to make everyone hate us OR find some way to have our talent validated,” Terri explained to the others.
“Get validated for our talent?  How could we possibly do that?  I mean, are we really that much better than all those other girlie groups out there?” Carlee asked.
“Jacee said that we need to win some sort of an award.  That or earn critcal acclaim.  I mean, no one can tell you that you suck when you’re packing a Grammy in your left pocket,” Val interjected.
“Does that mean that we have to disappear from the public eye or something?  That would suck!  I wanna be famous.”  Kelly pouted at everyone.
“NO! It just means that we’ve gotta be the best talent wise.  And think, I wanted to be just like Britney Spears, guess that’s never gonna happen.”  Val’s wiseass comments were starting to sound a lot like Chris…
“Do you mean to tell me that they’re going to end this story with us winning some big name important award and changing to Jive?  That’s so cheesy.  If they’re going to cop out with something like that they may as well end the story right here, I mean we all got the guy, so what more can happen?”  Terri became quite indignant.
“I say we kill him,” Val said rather dryly.
“Look Val, we’ve already told you that it’s not polite to threaten your management with death.  It’s just poor form.  The proper procedure would be to start shopping for new management,” Lance corrected her.
“Why don’t we just sue the bastard?  Wouldn’t that be easier?  He didn’t tell us the full extent of the terms of our contract.  That’s breech of trust.  We can get out of the contract no problem.  And there are no chances of jail time, something none of us need.”  Terri’s level head got everyone past thoughts of murder or ‘unfortunate accidents’ that could befall Mr. Pearlman.
“Yes, but after all the chaos that we have been through, that sort of resolution just seems so. . . I dunno. . .anticlimactic?” offered Lance.
“Well, what do you want us to do?  Stage some huge dramatic confrontation with Lou that results in our freedom at a deadly price?” asked Val.  “You gotta remember something, Lance o’ my heart.  YOU are not writing this story.  Tamolie and I am.”
Suddenly they all heard a loud bang come from the foyer.
“What the hell was that?” Justin yelled.
“ME!” came a loud voice from the entrance to the dining room.
Everyone looked up in shock to see Lou.
“Great!” moaned Val.  “It’s my own story and I still can’t have my way!”
“Shut up!” Lou snarled.  “I know very well what you kids are up to.” Lou’s menacing voice was punctuated by the arrival of five silhouettes in the doorway behind him.
“I don’t remember drinking that much at dinner…” Chris was soon rendered speechless as it became apparent as to the identity of the five mysterious figures.
“Do you mean to tell me that my hair looks like **gulp**  his?” Justin stared at what would appear to be is reflection.
The five *NSYNC look alike robots moved forward, each immobilizing his human counterpart before the girls had any chance to do anything.
“I have a team of the world’s best plastic surgeons waiting to make me five beautiful clones, you can stop this wonderful feat only by promising yourselves to me for the remainder of your contract.”
“Can they all look like Robbie Williams?” Val was getting excited at the prospect of six Robbies…
“You blithering fool, they will be transformed into living, breathing masterpieces…they will look just like ME! <insert menacing laughter here> Can’t you see it?  Six Mr. Pearlmans, all working to make me the richest man in the world, no the Universe!  Its Genius!!!”
When Lou got no response, he turned to find three girls doubled over in laughter, one staring back white as a ghost, and Valerie.
“Oh yeah, that’s right…the goal was to paint Lou as the ‘Benevolent Dictator.’  You’ll have to forgive me, it has been a year since we began this epic.  I guess we’ll just have to get back to you soon on how I decide this thing ends.  So there.”  Val stuck out her tongue and effectively ended the chapter, leaving the guys in the arms of heinous robots, and her friends frozen in fear or doubled over in laughter.

Chapter 38: Chris on Golden Pond

“Okay,” started Kelly.  “I waited how long for Val and Tamolie to come up with a creative ending?  And now they reward my patience by sending me the male version of Dr. Evil’s Fembots?!  I swear, if bullets start coming out of Joey’s nipples, I am sooooo out of here!”
“EWWWW!!!” everyone stopped to exclaim at the very thought.
“No, no, no, no!” Val cried.  “This is good, really. . .  You see, each of us has to destroy the evil robot version of our boyfriend by either exposing it to its greatest weakness or fear.  That’s not such a bad idea. . .right?”
     Everyone moaned.
“Fine then,” Val crossed her arms and turned up her nose.  “You think of something yourself.”
Lou laughed (Jesus, what else does he do in this story?).
“You can’t destroy my robots,” he spat at the girls.  “You can’t win that easily!”
“Oh really?” Val decided let her cheeky self break free.  “Watch this!”
With dashing flare, Val reached behind her back to display a small glass jar.  Smiling sweetly she practically skipped over to the evil Chris-bot who was holding her new boyfriend hostage.
“Excuse me Mr. Evil Chris Robot sir?” she asked innocently.  “I was wondering if you would like some of this?”
“What is it?” asked the robot cautiously.
“Anti-wrinkle cream.  I thought you could use it considering how old you look next to the other guys.  I mean, if you really want people to believe that you are only 28, you are going to have to put in a little more effort here.”
“Val, do you really think I look old?” gasped the real Chris who was still trying to get out of the robot’s headlock.
“Um, Chris honey, do you really think this is the right time to get into this?” she whispered to him.
“YOU THINK I’M OLD!” Chris yelled at her.
The robot was taken by surprise.  It stared down at Chris as if he was examining himself in a mirror.  A look of cold terror spread across his face when he noticed that small lines were forming around Chris’s eyes.  The robot began to panic.
“We have crow’s feet!” it yelled as smoke began to billow out of its ears.
“I can’t believe her stupid plan is working.  Would you look at that robot squirm?” sighed Terri.  “Well girls, shall we get those other robots?”
Before Evil Robot Chris had a chance to wrestle the wrinkle cream away from Val, the other girls were getting ready to do their worst and end their ties to O-Town once and for all.

Chapter 39: Fatal Attraction

As Val and Chris stood over the robot remains of Chris’s evil counterpart, the other girls realized that it was their turn to prove to the world just how well they knew their boyfriends.
Terri decided to go first.  She slipped into the kitchen and came back with a cheesecake.
“Hey!  That was supposed to be dessert!” cried Kathy heartbroken.
Terri ignored her and continued towards Robot JC.  Holding the decadent cake under his nose, Terri began to whisper in his ear.  Seconds later, the Robot let go of the real JC and was tearing through the cake.
“Oh my God!  The robot’s going against its programming and actually eating something.  What did you say to it?” Kelly was in awe.
“I told it that the cake was fat free. . .”
“How can a cheesecake be fat free?” asked Carlee.
“It isn’t,” answered Terri.  “That’s the whole point.  There is no way that robot is going to eat that entire thing without gaining weight.”
As Terri finished the sentence, the robot’s head snapped up.
     “What?” it asked her.
     “Oh, I’m sorry.  I didn’t understand what you just said.  I don’t speak fat-ass!”
“Fat-ass?!” the robot screamed in horror right before its head exploded.
“SCORE!!!” the girls all cried together.
“Okay, who’s next?” asked Val cheerily as she calmly patted out the small fire caused by the rogue JC head.
“ME ME ME!” screamed Kelly as she ran into another room.  Only seconds later, she returned with a mirror.
    “Hey, Evil Justin!” she called.
The Justin Robot turned around to see his entire reflection smiling back at him.
“That’s me?” it asked in awe.
    “Yup!” exclaimed Kelly.
“Holy crap, I am one hot mother fu. . .” BOOM!!!!  Thousands of little metal Justin pieces sprayed about the room.
The real Justin, while happy to be free, was confused.  “I don’t get it. . .”
“Well, wouldn’t you be excited to suddenly discover just how hot you really are?” said Kelly as she slinked up next to him.
“Oh my god!” exclaimed Val.  I think I actually saw Justin’s head swell just now.  Excellent work Kelly.”
