Let us see where we might be
amongst the trees so green
and road so long
Let us let us see
where such a journey
of maddness and of truth
has taken me today
I have seen the wilds
of anger and the smell
of ancient grief, but what scares
me most is the quiet lull
that only desert knows
An in-between place,
perhaps normalcy, but where is
the excitement that keeps me strong
where is the wind that comforts me
and tells me I am not alone
even when all hope has gone as the
sun departs for one long
and sleepless night.

I have heard this
on the radio/ television/ and friends
Northern snows forcasted
Wednesday? My aches say sooner
the element challenge to employment
rumours of snow
ceases the rain
and provides a new conversation piece
geographical
Where New York Meets
Canada... Great Lakes
I love snow
so I should live
in Alaska
with the polar bears

and rigid mountain wilderness
depending on warmth inside
to make it through
the night.
