The Coach signaled for Alex to take the mound. She didn’t want to, she needed to talk to Colby. She took the mound and looked at Colby, he signaled. She shook her head, he looked confused and signaled again, and she shook her head. Colby finally called time and ran up to the mound. “What’s wrong?”
“I know who the stalker is.”
“You do?”
“Yes!”
“Alex, we need to win this game, are you sure?”
“Yes, if you think really hard you can figure it out.”
“Win this for me, and then we’ll go straight to Bobby.”
Before Alex could say another thing Colby walked back to the plate. She scanned the crowd and found Bobby, he smiled at her. She nodded his head and continued to scan the crowd for Nick. She found the Carter’s but no Nick. She then turned her attention to the game, determined to win the game in the last 2 innings.

They won 5 to 3 and Alex was thrilled, but she lost Colby in the victory crowd. She slipped away and went back to the locker room. She walked in and stopped, “What are you doing in here?”
“I am here to get you out of my way.”
“I’m not in your way.”
“Oh yes you are.”
“You’re not the stalker.”
“No, I’m not, just the helper and the sister.”
“What’s in it for you?” Alex asked
“Love, what else?”
“Love, I don’t think so. You can’t have what I already have.”
“Don’t be so sure of yourself.”
“This will never work out.”
“Oh yes it will. You see, for some unknown reason my brother likes you, and you just so happen to be the girlfriend of the guy I want. So, I’m helping him kidnap you so I can have my man.”
“Nick doesn’t even like you Amy.”
Amy grinned, “Well, when you are out of the way, I’m sure he’ll think different.” Amy raised the gun just a little bit higher, “You’ll like the little place my brother has picked out for you. No one will ever find you, and once you are thought to be dead. Nick will have to move on, and I'll be there waiting. It’s all planned out quite nicely if you ask me. Oh, and don’t even think about screaming. You scream, and I shoot.”
