Dear
Jim,
I can't thank you enough for your help and guidance regarding my purchase
of the Duallist pedal. I've wanted to get this pedal for some
time now and with the help of the positive reviews from Modern Drummer
as well as your knowledgeable insight of the product my mind was made.
With only having the pedal for a few weeks and with the help of my 2 kids
not giving me the time to practice much, as well as working 3-4 nights
a week, I cant believe the potential this pedal has. It has
been a great addition to my kit. I get a lot of favorable looks from
band mates as well as the audience. They must think, "What a fast foot
this guy has!" I have only touched the surface of the potential the
Duallist has and only look forward to the next time I can get my foot on
it again. It's a lot of fun! Just being able to have a double
bass pattern and be able to keep the high hat foot on the pedal is well
worth it.
I must admit being skeptical at first, but with your advice on the settings
and positions, it made me feel confident with my purchase. I play
a wide variety of styles from rock to swing to R&B and I have used
it with them all with great results. I must also admit that upon
taking it out of the unique looking box, I couldn’t imagine putting my
foot on such a great looking pedal. I still almost treat it with
kid gloves all though I know it can take a beating.
Thanks again for all of your help!
Sincerely,
Gary Weiss

Dear
Jim,
Thank
you so much. The pedal got here last night and it is very cool.
I have to do some adjusting, but I have already done some stuff on my drum
set I never could before. It is very smooth and very light.
It is incredible.
Thanks
again,
Chris

Hi
Jim,
I
received the Duallist today Thursday 29 march. Right out of
the box I was able to pull off 16ths and triplets. It looks like it'll
take some getting used to. I love it. If I ever decide to get a new kit
I will definitely contact you. Thanks so much for your help.
Best
wishes,
Kevin

Hi
Jim,
I
received my Duallist pedal on Monday afternoon. After viewing the instructional
videotape that came with it I attached it to my bass drum and within a
half hour I was doing 16th notes on the bass drum like I've always wanted
to. Now I'm working on getting triplets to sound good but that
should come with a little bit of practice, and I'm looking forward to trying
some other ideas out. Thanks for all of your help. It's
nice to do business with someone that cares about your purchase and is
knowledgeable as well. I will definitely look you up the next time I'm
interested in buying something.

Dear
Jim,
As promised, the pedal arrived on Monday afternoon (6-18-01) and I got
to see it around 5:30 after I got home from work. I opened it up and everything
was there unharmed. I took a quick look through the operators
manual and installed the beaters. From there I went right down to my drum
room and put it on my bass drum. This meant taking off my Intruder
and setting it aside. Wow! look at all this empty space near the
hat stand. I did some of my favorite warm-ups and then did a small
adjustment to the beater length for the right beater. Next, I did
the warm-ups again, this time using the both beaters. It was a little
clumsy at first trying to get used to the feel, but I found it and then
packed up to go to our gig.
When I got there and got set-up, I just started warming up like I normally
do and didn't say a word about the new pedal. We did our sound check
and then took a break and greeted people coming in for the gig. We
got about half way through the first song and I kicked in the second beater.
Boy, you could have been knocked over by the snapping necks of my band
mates turning around to see what was happening. Nobody said anything
since we have 4 songs back-to-back as an opening, they didn't get the chance.
I just pretended not to hear them and the show went on. At the end
of the first set, the band gets introduced and everybody gets a 4
bar solo spot except for me. I usually get 10 or 12 bars depending
on how I feel that night. Well, this time I got about 24 bars and
the band just stood there google-eyed, trying to figure out what was going
on. After the solo, the rest of the band comes in and we close off
and take a break.
I actually had a lot of applause and didn't end up getting a break because
I spent so much time showing off my new Duallist pedal and explaining how
it worked.
So......... Thanks Jim, I couldn't have done it without you.
I'll write more when I have some time to try some different things with
it.

Greetings Jim,
I want to first say thanks to everyone involved in creating this masterpiece for the drumming
community. What a huge difference this has made for drummers in a rut or
feeling the need for something futuristic to bring out the very
best in one's imagination. This masterpiece makes one soar with creativity.
I have been playing drums for 35 years and this is the best invention that
I have had the opportunity to work with that actually works with ease,
is a space saver, lightweight, and durable. A million thanks
to all involved and keep the great inventions coming. I will send every drummer that
I know, your email address so they may have the pleasure of operating
such a grand invention.
A Duallist player and firm believer,

P.S. I also want to know the price on a pair of extra belts. I will probably need a pair
for the survival kit.
Thanks again and God Bless.
