Effingham, Illinois Chapter

This is the Effingham Chapter of Slow Draggin, established April 24, 1999. The President is Lowell Fehrenbacher and I am the Vice President. At this time there is only one other member, Philip Stein. Here is some info and pictures of our rides.

Lowell and Eric's 1987 Chevy S-10

This is me and my dad's truck. It is a 1987 Chevrolet S-10 Tahoe extended cab, 2.8L V-6, short bed, 2 wheel drive minitruck.

Mods-

Shaved door handles, emblems, front bumper, Firestone Ride Rite air bags front and rear with onboard compressior and tank, PPG Bright Polly Blue paint (it's a Chrysler color), frame painted black, relocated shocks all the way around, lowered using products from Bell-Tech, tinted windows, flush mounted hard toneau cover, fiberglass roll pan, Billet Center Line 16 inch Prowler wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich P215/40R16 rubber, billet grill painted to match the truck, painted tail light bezels, front blackouts on the head lights and custom made blackouts for the turn signals, fiberglass cowl induction hood, painted smaller anttena, single Fowmaster exhaust, dual outlet chrome Pacesetter Monza tips, yellow 1mm larger aftermarket performance plug wires, painted and pinstriped air filter cover, engine painted black with some chrome and other painted parts under the hood, carpeted bed, Alpine alarm system, 1000 watt+ stereo system consisting of an Alpine 7939 CD player head unit, 2 Sony 4x6 plates in factory locations in the dash, 2 1" Alpine tweeters in custom made pods made out of bondo by the side mirrors, 4 6" Rockford Fosgate mids in custom made pods in the bottom of the doors, 4 Rockford Fosgate 15" subs in a diamond patern running 3 cubic feet per sub with the box extending into the bed, Rockford Fosgate OEQ-1 eqalizer, 1 Rockford Fosgate PAQ-1 (or something like that)pre-amp, 1 Rockford Fosgate Punch 3x crossover, 1 Rockford Fosgate Punch 200 amp runningthe subs, 1 Rockford Fosgate Punch 4040 amp running the 4 6's in the doors, and 1 Rockford Fosgate Punch 75 amp running the 4x6's and the 2 1" tweets. There is over 1 mile of Phoenix Gold wiring in the truck with some Rockford Fosgate and Stinger wiring, a Kennwood crossover, 1 Die Hard battery, etc. etc. etc.

Lowell and Eric's 1995 Chevy S-10 Blazer

At this time there is no pics of the Blazer but they are on the way. I just have to scan them off. It is a 1995 Chevy S-10 Blazer, 2 door 2 wheel drive, with a 4.3L Vortec V-6.

Mods-

Billet grill insert with billet grill insert in the air dam, lowered 2 inchs, Wings West ground effects kit painted to match the rest of the truck, factory red paint, fog lights in air dam, 15 inch polished PCW 5 spoke wheels wrapped in P295/50R15 Mastercraft rubber, single Silver Knight exhaust with chrome tip, factory clothe interior, Sony CDX head unit/CD player, 1 Phoenix Gold QX2180 chrome amp bridged mono to 180 watts RMS @ 4ohms, 1 Alpine XR12 SWL-3048 12 inch sub in a custom ported box, Phoenix Gold wiring, and a few little extras I am forgeting.

Philip Stein's 1963 Chevrolet Impala Convertible

At this time there are no pics of the Impala but they are on the way. I just have to scan them off. It is a 1963 Chevy Impala 2 door, convertible, with a 327 c.i.d. that produces 350 horses at the rear wheels, and is just plain fuckin' fast, not to mention it does awsome smoke shows.

Dual glass packs, repainted orange block, chrome Edlebrock valve covers, air filter cover, etc., white pearl flake with chrome metalflake, vinyl interior kit, carpeted trunk, lowered, 14x8 80 spoke chrome Players wires wrapped up in Goodyear rubber, Alpine head unit/CD player, 2 10" Soundstream U.S.A. subs, 1 BOSS AVA-550 purple amps, 1 Yellow Top Optima battery, Phoenix Gold wiring, 2 Alpine mids
