I grew up in North Carolina and graduated Valedictorian & Student Body President in 1994. After high school, I attended the University of Hawaii where I studied Meteorology and Liberal Arts. After taking time off for various reasons, I went back to school and received a real estate license, an AA in liberal studies, a BA in Humanities/ History, an MA.Ed in secondary teaching, and am currently working on additional endeavors. I have experience in business, education, and meteorology. I began working as a research meteorologist in 2009. I have also done some volunteer work for an international education honor society. I look forward to making continued contributions to education, meteorology, and science in the years to come.
