My Rooms to Go Story
My wife and I purchased a living room set and a bedroom suite for our 6 year old daughter over 5 weeks ago from a ROOMS TO GO store in Marietta on

Hwy 41.
We paid for delivery and told the salesman we had a driveway that was winding, approximately 300 foot from the road. He said we could have a
smaller truck send out the furniture, so he added a note on the order.

We received our living room furniture the week after we shopped at Rooms To Go store
 store on a large truck so it had to park in a subdivision and I had to
 get the furniture in my truck and haul it down to my house, no problem
 with that. We called to make sure they had us down for a smaller truck
for the next order, since it was a whole bedroom suite.

They said it would be no problem.

The bedroom furniture was on back order and was scheduled to arrive the month afterwards. We paid the delivery fee for both, this was o.k. With us. The day before we received the furniture we received a call from Rooms To Go saying we would be delivered our furniture the next day on the morning run 10:00 am to 2:00. We then removed our daughter’s furniture from her room and she slept with us that night. The next day we waited, and waited, and waited for our furniture. None came, no phone calls, nothing, so we called at 2:30. They had sent it on a larger truck and seen the note and cancelled the order, No calls, No warning to us.

My wife (who was pregnant and by this time VERY stressed out) was on the phone for two days with Rooms To Go kids customer service and no one seem to be able to help us. They then said they say we will have to reschedule and it will be two weeks before they can get it out. She was heartbroken.

This is a most irresponsible way to handle someone who WAS planning to furnish their whole house from Their Company.

THEN WHAT??

The manager at rooms to go asked if we would like to go to Florida and get it. I live in Georgia. We received our furniture about 2 weeks later (after having to re-order it) 2 months since we first ordered it! I had to go to the sub-division next to my house with a truck and haul it to my house!   They offered me a whole $50.00 gift certificate for my next purchase...

How amusing.... I’ll never use it!

What was worst, we had to send the three main pieces back because of poor craftsmanship. That only took about three more weeks!
